You have 4/6 correct ;)
Dammit. Arabian Nights was a guess so thought that might be wrong. It is Sinbad?

What was the other wrong answer?

It is Sinbad?

It is not. But I'm fairly sure you would have heard of the movie. It's fairly famous. I haven't seen it either.

I wish I was that knowledgeable. That Thief remake is still stunning to look at now...even moreso when I see some CGI films, those effects are brilliant, it was made in 1940? Iirc it was also one of the first movies to use Technicolour...it's just a joy to watch...a visual treat.

It's amazing how much the Disney version of Aladdin stole outright from that film, right down to the precise looks of the characters. Can't imagine the copyright would have expired by then either.

I thought of Conrad Veidt when I saw Aladdin, that was exactly the same character in the Disney film as we saw in Thief.

The answers for the previous round were:

1. Kathy Bates in Misery
2. The Thief of Baghdad (my guess was Arabian nights as well, Titi ;D)
3. The Prophet (wtf actually is this?)
4. The Babadook
5. The Breakfast Club
6. Deliverance

Normally these quizzes are weekdays only, but I'll do a bonus round today from one of the earlier days before I started this.

1. In what 1990s movie was "Victim in Field" actually portrayed by storyboard artist J. Todd Anderson, not the Minnesota native formerly known as Prince?

2. What movie star is missing in these shots from back-to-back-to-back Best Picture nominated movies?

3. What are these women close to having, according to the rest of this movie's title?

4. This is an Italian poster for what British comedy , which inspired a recent Tony winner for Best Musical?

5. In quite a departure from his usual onscreen attire, who is the actor on the right?

6. This card includes the last four members of what title group of a 1960s caper film?

I knew all three movies for #2 and still didn't know who the actor was.

These are clearly too easy for you guys.

1. Fargo
2. Chris Pratt
3. A nervous breakdown
4. Kind Hearts and Coronets
5. Charlie Chaplin
6. Ocean's Eleven

New questions!

1. These objects, from films in 2004, 2006, and 2010, all share what special capability?

2. Name either of the two actors and frequent sparring partners crossing swords in this climactic scene (later parodied by Mel Brooks)?

3. This fan art invokes the imperative tagline and execution method of what 1986 cult film?

4. The guy on the right may just be filling up a professor's gas tank today, but he'll go on to die for our sins, match wits with James Bond, confront a Babylonian demon, and study the ways of the Jedi. Name the actor.

5. These four scenes pay tribute to the work of what Warner Bros. sequence director?

6. Alas, this is the end…of what movie? C

Could have got as many as 4, if I thought really hard about it. But the last two are pretty hard.
