Should be Allegri if he's available and they've got any sense.

This absolutely. It wouldn't surprise me if they approached him over the last 1-2 weeks ala Spurs with Mourinho knowing that it was always a matter of when and not if Emery got the sack.

Reminds me of us before Rodgers came in. We obviously went for the young, longer project manager, which is similar to what they'd get with Arteta however i'm not sure their fans are willing to wait much longer to become competitive again. Allegri would be able to make some progress with the back four while ensuring they utilise their strengths in attack.

With the unrest at Napoli I'd be pulling out all the stops for Ancelotti

Although now they have virtually qualified for the CL knockout stages it may be a bit more difficult

Just seen this now he isn't a bad manager just impossible to deal with them trying to change the way they play and deal with there terrible support

hope Rafa stays clear of Arsenal. I can see them going down the Chelsea route in appointing an inexperienced manager maybe go for Arteta
Nobody is talking about Rafa at the moment, when his stock should be rising in a growing moment of opportunity. For some reason, beyond me, as he should be returning to a team above the status of Newcastle, surely? He would make more of Arsenal than either Arteta and Ancellotti would I reckon.

I admire Ancelotti, but he's someone you call when you got a squad of stars that you want to fuse into a good team. Like PSG or Real.

I actually think Howe can do something with their group of young players, but maybe better options out there?

City have got to play them home and away and have the away game in a couple of weeks. If they take Espirito Santos from Wolves it would benefit us too seeing as we play them soon and City have already played them.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

They’re still Arsenal though.  They haven’t been an intimidating fixture for a top side for at least a decade.

I have a feeling if they went after Rodgers he'd still go there. Even if it meant leaving Leicester now. He'd be a decent appointment but there's a few options like Allegri who they could just ask to take the job without having to pay huge compensation to a club. They can only say no, I suppose.

Arteta could be a Solskjaer like appointment, imo. Just looks devoid of personality.

Signing Luiz to play in a back four was suicide, especially in a team that has to play end-to-end to get the best out of their attackers.

They should go after Ancelotti or Benitez, And give them some money to buy decent defenders and a proper DM.

Some good options around, they should make a decent appointment if they have their wits about them.

Rafa would be excellent for them given what they need. Any Arsenal fans who think he is defensive should go back and watch some of the sides he put together for us and Valencia.

Rafa is the smart choice I think, or Rodgers

Not clear that was actually the case, and it wasn't just people putting 2 and 2 together after the timing of his leaving our dugout

Would be a bit baffling if Arsenal choose to hire someone who hasn't had a significant managerial career to date, like Arteta
