Despite all that is said west ham play some decent stuff at times, between noble taylor downing etc. Its the 2 up front that are really hopeless when it comes to technique. For sunderland , borini was piss poor today.

Behave Nolan it's a stonewall pen that - ''My arm just kind of came up'' same kind of excuse Pardew used ''I tried to push him away with my head''.

Howard Webb is easily one of the worst referees in the top flight. Yet because of his "celebrity" status, he keeps getting the big games and tournaments. Shocking stuff. Someone needs to call him out for what he really is.

What else did you expect him to say?

He is an employee of West Ham.

I'm sure deep down he wants Liverpool to win the league.

Poor second half from Fabio, but in his defense he was played out wide and had to chase long balls in hope of creating something resembling a chance. Sunderland are really poor, can't see them saving themselves, let's hope WHU take the foot off the pedal for our match now that they're relatively safe...

Sunderland are still in this, though. Game in hand. And look at this run of fixtures, surely they'll win at least a few:

Spurs away
Everton home
City away
Chelsea away

...oh.

Very happy the City and Chelsea games come when they should still mathematically be in it, as opposed to being the last two games of the season when they will have given up. They'll be all-guns-blazing for those two games to stay in the PL... though one wonders if theres any ammunition in those guns lol

He has always been a dirty player.

Doesn't mean he doesn't support Liverpool though.

However come Sunday he will be trying his best for West Ham and rightly so.

A good point but honsetly wasnt the point I was making

See Carroll their buzzing to have scored v Sunderland, thats more like it

Footballers are not fans. It doesnt matter how much they say they love the club. I couldnt sit in the studio like Neville and Carragher do and be objective like that. And I dare say 99% of you lot couldnt either

Lee Cattermole, Craig Gardner. Wholehearted players who are decent without the ball but just have nothing like the quality needed with the ball at their feet. Then you have Adam Johnson. So much promise over the course of his career, yet so fragile in terms of character and mentality. Players like these end up at clubs like Sunderland. Sunderland end up battling relegation. It was ever thus.

Think you're making something out of nothing.

Not everyone is going to to walk the Liverpool line and certainly not when a player & captain of another club.

I really don't care about Nolan and what he says.

However I am convinced non of our players will think that cause Nolan is a Liverpool fan that he won't be trying on Sunday.

Didn't see the match, but is there anything we should be worried about from West Ham?

I saw their game against United a few weeks back, and every opportunity they had they just pumped the ball long into the penalty area looking for Carroll. Free kick in their own half...it still went 70-80 yards to Carroll. Stoke Mk II, or the new Stoke. We're not terribly good at defending set pieces and corners, so it might be a problem for us.

The problem in my opinion is that they don't score enough goals. Their goals conceded are about the same as Newcastle, but they've scored 10 goals less, which is huge in their position. Having Altidore as their central goal threat and no proper playmaking No.10 is their downfall. In contrast I think they've got decent enough players in GK, defense, and defensive midfield, its just that they lack any imagination in the final 3rd, and as you said Johnson is a really streaky player

And yet they left two of their top four goalscorers on the bench, choosing to play Wickham and Bridcutt/Cattermole instead.
