Damn Sheer was hoping to sneak Anelka in later. Had a great career, just not at Liverpool. Was a mistake not to sign him

Yeah, clever pick that.

And Didi is a very good pick at this stage.

Abs I really need a CB!

I’ll pick at about 9, can’t remember who’s on my shortlist!
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Hazell preferred to wait until Lobo made his picks at nine, then each will have two picks in the order of Lobo-Hazell-Hazell-Lobo so hopefully we get four in a few minutes when the time comes :) As for later and the #4 picks we'll see what happens.

By the way dammit I wanted Didi in the fifth that messed with my plans  :wave

Kolo's a really nice pick. Another who should be going before a few CBs already picked. Maybe it's easy to forget how good he was for Arsenal before us.

I completely forgot about Kolo to be honest, wasn't even on my shortlist.

I thought about him in the middle of the night (as you do) and thought I should write that down before I forget. I didn’t, I did forget, and then Hazell picked him anyway.

What? Kolo has been picked?!

I was like Didi or Kolo as I wanted both of them and then held on for Didi. Looks like they'd both have gone in this round one way or the other.

In this draft, more than all the others, I really should stop being surprised when my options get picked. It’s going to be unlikely that I’ve found a hidden gem the rest of you don’t know about!

Didi getting nicked will probably force a formation change of mine to a 4-4-2 given that was the Liverpool formation for many years in the PL era so there are more to choose from up front.

I think I might do the same. Lots of good strikers. not many wide players so might be creative with a 4312

Lovely. :D

Think I’m more likely to play him at CB given the dwindling options there but good to have some versatility.

I think in the nicest way possible it might just be worth classing defacto as absent until further notice and skip him until he's back (which it seems he will be judging by JohnCs message in the help and advice subby)

Hey lads ready to pick but not sure why some of the older players haven’t been drafted - is there a cutoff like EPL era LFC players?
THIS IS ANFIELD SIGN:

Anyone who has played, or been in a matchday squad, for Liverpool since football was invented in 1992

Babbel another great pick. Can also play him at CB judging all time and not just on his time with us.

Love the Kuyt pick too.

Was gonna question why Diggler lasted this long! Obviously not everyones cup of tea but proper consistent goalscorer at club and international level and obviously tremendously hard working

I'll be amazed if any team doesn't contain at least one shite player in this.
