Awful. Midfield really let us down. Time for Klopp and the boys to make sure this was a bad half, not a bad game.

bunch of amateurs...will only raise their game against bigger teams.  Can't wait the next transfer window and we'll get some decent midfielders and defenders

Got away with that - we've been abysmal again! Emre Can doing his very best to get a transfer in the summer. Possibly the worst defensive midfielder in the league - that moment where he bottled a challenge, then proceeded to blatantly barge a guy in the back and give a freekick on the edge of the box just epitomises how incredibly poor he is. If Juve want him, come and get him, please.

We don't deserve to be drawing, but lets take it and make sure we get the 3 points. Fuck sake redmen
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

Horrendous performance, same shit over again. Lucky to get that goal truth be told.

Central midfield of Cann, Wijnaldum and Lallana aren't connecting us up, causing a massive disjoint between attack and defense.

There is just no bite to it. When they go for 50/50s they look scared. Henderson always gives everything. We really miss that as even if he is having a terrible game he won't hide. Can has been poor, but he is way too slow and teams know this.

Emre Can needs to sort himself out if he wants £100,000 a week.

See what happens when we actually try and play the ball around a bit? All this long ball stuff is doing my head in.

Like I said before the game, Moreno more suited to this than Milner. I'd argue Milner's lack of confidence on his left foot is taking Coutinho out of the game. Every time the ball goes to him (and he sees it a lot in these games) on the left he turns inside and passes it inside or hits it long to Origi. Get Moreno on so that he can involve him and make a run for him.

Burnley gave us a lesson in crossing early on...could have been up by more.

Coutinho looks a bit lightweigt so far, as he often does.
Good cross from Origi for the goal, bit lucky how it fell to Gini, but well taken

One chance, one goal conceded every time against the likes of these is really hard to take!

Coutinho needs to drag himself into this game, up the tempo, get fucking stuck in and press them high like they've been pressing us.

We're at home ffs!

Trust Klopp to rip into them now and we look a different side hopefully second half.

We need 3 pts here Redmen! And we owe these fuckers one.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

When Liverpool "press" like they did in that first half, they might as well play with ten men. Running up to the opposition and looking at them is not pressing. Terribly lazy closing down for the start of the move leading to the Burnley goal.

The defence is terribly wobbly. Milner, Can and Klavan have been all over the shop.
Surely Clyne should have been covering the back post for their goal?

Awful misplaced passes and crosses slammed into defenders who are not moving.

At least after the goal Wij was running back like a madman, showing the right attitude. I was feeling sick before that goal!

Hope Klopp is bollocking them right now.

Someone should be bollocking him, we play with 4 attacking mids and Can in front of that defence!

Seems like the Liverpool side that lost to Leicester has turned up here.

Couple of players having a mare, Can being chief suspect in that.

Also, has Klavan banged Neville's missus or something? Jesus Christ, he wouldn't fuck up about him.

No fucking way is Can "chief suspect" in that.  Coutinho, Mane, Clyne, Lallana all have been absolutely horrendous.

Jesus. Coutinho, Can, and Milner need to pull their heads out. Every fucking Burnley attack is coming down our left.

Need Origi to shift out wide a bit more. Been effective out there. Gini is the man for the big goal.

First 20 minutes were horrible. Last 26 minutes, a bit more promising.

Where the fuck are Coutinho and Emre Can?

Also, great timing on the goal, Gini! Hopefully this ends up working in our favor and demoralizes Burnley. We need to play much better during the second half.

Pawson has surely got to book their forward, he is constantly grappling. Its wrestling not football.

And he can't count. he put the ball down and sprayed around it then counted 8 steps!!

Our tactics just dont make sense either.

Everytime Origi jumps for the stupid long ball we play he gets nudged in the back and they win it, its clear he is not giving these and we are not going to win it so why hoof it down the centre?

Clyne is frustrating the hell out me, good defender but going forward he is terrible, dreadful crosses and constant cutting back.

Jurgen, this isnt working change the shape or something.

Massive let off that. We're fucking shite, no two ways about it, utter lack of intensity and no apparent game plan.

The CB's are causing us a headache, Klavan especially as he's a liability against pace.

Making bang average players look fantastic, a wank journeyman like Joey Barton being made to look like prime Roy Keane ffs.

Well that was 100% predictable......well until Gini scored.

We have been slow, we're not competing for the ball and we've lumped the ball aimlessly forward.

Klopp needs to get this team performing against lower teams. We have been dire and don't even deserve to be 1-1.

The next goal is crucial and however scores it will probably win.

Most of them playing like they know they are guaranteed their place in the team come what may.

And given the lack of options, of course they are.

Competition throughout the side is what's needed for the summer.

Burnely controlling the spaces,  even holding a high line before they scored, as well as pressing the shit out of us really rattled us. Finally got some composure back and lucky to equalise right on half time. We have to be way quicker in our passing, almost one touch, if we're going to prevail.

Coutinho is playing poorly, but he is not getting on the ball in good positions. When taking it out wide he seems to be moving slower and getting caught (and pulled back), he needs to move it quicker. in fact they all do.

think we have to get Coutinho more central and maybe its a chance for Wilson to come on the left where he is a natural winger and a natural left footer.
I'd make that change take Can off and move Wijnaldum slightly deeper because we have to get Coutinho on the ball in more central areas.

We really need better fullbacks, it's very essential to Klopp's philosphy and tactics, and Clyne is not good enough for this particular system going forward. If we didn't play the way we did, it wouldn't matter so much, but considering we get the ball so much out wide with our fullbacks, it's imperative that we make use of that. And both Miler and Clyne are painful to watch going forward. Defensively they aren't that solid either.

Coutinho really needs to impose himself, he's invisible.

Thank fuck for Gini we didn't really deserve that goal at all but we'll take it.

Its yet another shambolic performance from us. You wonder what we worked on all week. First couple of minutes we seemed to drive forward, that got attacked a couple of times, looked all at sea and didn't heed the warnings and we went 1 nil down. The problem is that we got worse from there, no reaction from the players, no trying to playing our natural game, just a meek surrender.

We have to take this lifeline and build on it. If we come out with the same attitude it will be more points dropped today.
Some clubs were always destined for greatness...
