When you add up chances created goals and assists,Salah was the more productive player. Not sure where you are getting your stats from
Remember you pointing this out several weeks ago DF. I find it a little surprising to be honest, but stats don't lie. I believe, during games and watching them back, that Mane seems more involved and is less wasteful on the ball than Mo, yet at the same time Mo tends to pick up cute areas of space and goal scoring positions. Add to that all the delightful things Bobby is forever doing, it's no surprise we have the best front three in world football.

To me, Mane is our Neymar.

Not a player I'd like to see Sadio compared to.

Neymar for all his natural talent, is a grade a prick, a showpony and a cheat, and now constantly injured.

I'm sure there's a better comparison out there!

Actually, he dosn't need a comparison. He's Sadio Mane.

I feel like Ribery is a much better comparison. Both excellent at wide attacking play, cutting inside or out, beating men, highly productive. But clever and creative as well when dropping inside to do 'midfieldery' type stuff. And also hard working and up for a fight if needed.

I can understand that comparison, but for me Ribery is a traditional winger, where as Mane is a wide forward who can perform in multiple different positions. His goal-scoring is vastly superior. Ribery has 156 goals in 600+ appearances. Sadio is already at 134 in half the performances, and he's 27.

Mane had a fantastic year no doubt, his best year in terms goals in his career. He helped when Mo went on a nine match goalless streak, but given that, imagine had Salah not had as long as a streak, there would have been an even bigger difference between their outputs.

Better or worse than the others - not important.

What's important is that he's a vital component of the best front three forward line in the world; along with Bobby and Mo.  Enjoy them.

Exactly and it's a front three we'll be seeing for a few more seasons at least. We're the luckiest football fans to have these three in our team.

To me, Mane is our Neymar.

Not really anything alike in terms of how they play. If you mean in a talismanic sense, then perhaps but that's about where the similarity ends.

to be honest I'd much rather have Mane any day of the week. Such a devastating skilful player with end product who is a good team-man. Neymar is a theatrical, over the top prima donna that happens to be a really good footballer with what seems like a bad attitude.

I honestly wouldn't be against Origi starting over him against Burnley just to help him rest and then bring him on if we really need him.

Wouldn't be any need to do that given that he'll have two weeks off based on what Klopp is saying.

To me, Mane is our Neymar.

If I was going to compare him to a player it would be Ronaldinho in his pomp. Ronaldinho had ridiculous upper body strength for his size plus incredible acceleration. Mane has that plus a far better work ethic and more desire.

One of the great certainties in life is that when Mane stands up a full back he is just about to have them on toast.

Ronaldinho had the skill on the ball and trickery that Firmino has, Sadio is not in the same class, but the general comparison seems right. Mane's first touch is questionable, unless it's on his thigh; he glues those balls.

SUBSTITUTION
Burnley 0-3 Liverpool

Double change for Liverpool as Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino make way.

Mane is clearly NOT happy about going off, throwing a bit of a strop on his way to the bench. I'm guessing he wanted more goals!

Firmino puts a comforting arm around his team-mate and seems to help calm Mane down.

On come Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri.

You have to love his passion!
