Still be dirk for me, gerrard a close 2nd though, that pen he took against arsenal in the quarter final of the CL took some bottle, i couldnt even look!

I thought it was a bad pen as it was fairly obvious he was going to put it there, IMO.

His always look obvious, but then sometimes it goes the other way and wasn't obvious at all.

For those saying 'why Suarez?' he had an outstanding record at Ajax - his horrific penalty against Sunderland was very much a one-off. I think we're very lucky to have a number of players who are very good penalty takers, despite us having missed a few lately. I'd be confident with any one of Suarez, Gerrard, Adam or Kuyt stepping up, which is great if we're involved in a shoot-out this season!

Gerrard or Suarez. I would say Kuyt but don't think he belongs in the starting 11 anymore.

Bit of a non-argument that. I'm sure if Skrtel scored a penalty it would boost his confidence. Doesn't mean he'll be taking them for us though! Plus, why does Lucas' confidence need boosting? He's one of the first names on the teamsheet.

honestly, it is not even about a boost of confidence. I trust the man's mettle more than anyone, bar gerrard, in the squad. If he stepped up to take a penalty I would have complete faith that he would slot it home.

not to say that he should be our pen taker mind, just that I would have full faith if he were charged with the task.

Also, I chose suarez because he had a good record in holland and he is a good set piece taker. Plus, striker's live off goals so it would be good to give him those opportunities.

Any one of Gerrard, Kuyt, Suarez or Adam can take them.

Gerrard should be number 1. Kuyt and Suarez are both reliable despite their recent misses. Adam is one of our best ballstrikers and I'd like to see him take one at some stage.
