Slows play, loses the ball, disappears from games but plays the odd good pass. Not enough to be a starter in my opinion.

I would like to point out that we won the game and got a clean sheet.

MOMENTUM!

The difference is probably a manager and team like Arsenal and Arteta, a lesser version of Guardiola. That’s the opposite spectrum of what it seems posters are describing as a change to Klopp, I’m not sure any of manager in the world could compete with that standard of consistent 95+ point seasons, only Klopp, and doing it that way, his way is probably the only way to get any success out of the competition we’ve had with City and Guardiola.

I don't disagree with any of that. I just think people had jumped on that post as something to hate, when I don't think any of it was below the belt.

I said in my post that Klopp’s way is probably the only way for us to truly compete toe to toe against clubs (and that's not just City) who spend way more than we do. I wish he was staying and I don't at all think we'll be better after he's gone.

But at the same time, I don't begrudge people feeling exhausted and worn out by it all either. These years with Klopp have been amazing, but I can also feel worn out by the constant extreme highs and lows.

I don't necessarily think that Ruben Amorim or whoever it ends up being will do better than Jurgen - they almost certainly won't. But this evening, in the context of watching my team go out with a whimper, while looking completely spent, I just think it's OK to wonder how it will be different going forward. You can wonder that without disrespecting Jurgen Klopp or in any way thinking it'll be better without him. I'm just willing to embrace the difference now that it's been forced upon us. And I'm probably saying all this because of how much it hurts right now.

Jurgen Klopp has won every single top honour since taking Liverpool from middling mediocrity to the best team in the world.

Agree and I’ll miss JK hugely, best manager in my lifetime.
But I remember when Mourinho between 2003 and 2007 was probably the best manager in the world….but son after he was moving jobs, his football was no longer getting results.
Similarly Rafa between 2003-2009 was excellent…but again his style of football soon got found out and he’s similar, can’t hold onto a job etc…
But one thing in life that is constant and that’s change….

C'mon now.
There is only one Taylor.
Taylor Momsen.

So good they named him twice.

Wallasey is a bit of a trek for me from near Heathrow!

Last time I had it serviced I just went to the local Goldsmiths they done a few tests there and then and said it’s not the battery and sent it to Tag.

BTW, my 26 years of good fortune has come from having it serviced by Tag only. It's a bit of a hassle getting into town and it might take a few days but well worth it.

I said in a different thread that he's a lot of noise and effort but not much result. Superb technique and you can't fault his workrate, but he hardly ever seems like a threat - doesn't stretch the back line, questionable decision making, average passing and finishing.

Selling him would make a lot of sense this summer, but we've ended up in a position where we are inundated with CF's and two wingers (one of which is a regressing Salah).

They will now play Olympiakos or Fenerbahce away on the Thursday and then us on the Sunday.  Tired legs an ' all that.

We play them on Monday, but hopefully it still works to our advantage. Need to win a lot of games before that for that one to matter.

I dread to think what this place will be like then. Thankfully I won't be here to worry about it.

Same.

Alisson made the most passes by a goalkeeper in Europa league or Champions League history with 94.

Sums up the performance

Unfortunately, breaking records at the wrong end of the field.
