This is nice. And it's available everywhere.

To Live and Die in L.A.
Are you having a....festival of the best looking, most stylish looking film of the eighties in yours?  ;D Too cool this la.

Manhunter and then to To Live and Die in LA-the two best looking films from that decade...and they still stand up.

right the bookies have the spotlight director(2/1) as favourite for the oscar. i see it between inarritu(3/1) for the revenant and george miller(14/1) for mad max. spotlight(4/6) will win the oscar for best picture because its highlighted a serious issue so in tradition the film that highlights the issue wins best picture. the revenant(4/1) is the film that will be spoke about in years to come though

Holy Jesus....I knew it wasn't gunna be good but fuck me....

London Has Fallen is possibly the worst film I've scene in the last 12 months, easily the worst of 2016 and possibly the worst I've ever scene at the cinema!

Dreadful in absolutely every aspect - sound editing, script, acting, script, editing, script, direction, script, lighting, script, editing, script, wardrobe, script, special effects, script, cgi, script, fight choreography! You can tell they just thought, well the last one made money, let's half the budget, get the same cast in and whatever's left after everyone's been paid we'll spend on blowing some shit up...badly!

I could barely hear what anyone was actually saying but I think they might even have had the audacity to steal a few lines from Predator FFS! This film is that diseased even Pete Doherty would think twice! Horseshit! :no

It looked shite from the trailer I saw and you couldn't pay me to watch it.

You'd have been better off dling something...you ever seen Prince Of The City....Lumet at his best....there's 100's of Great films that I'd bet you haven't seen that much more rewarding than a film that's basically a remake and the only difference is they switched the location.

A decent remake worth watching....His Girl Friday which became...The Front Page...which is a remake of a remake. ;D  Both hilariously funny.

Hollywood has been trying to get another Die Hard/Lethal Weapon-lite film for years now.

The thing is, regardless of what you think of Bruce Willis or Mel Gibson, they made fantastic serendipitous heroes. Their zany personalities gave them an edge that cuts across sex, race or age. Gerrard Butler and James Statham just look like arseholes who got lucky and should be playing baddies.

I love a good thoughtless action film as much as the next person, but the formula is all fucked up now and characterisation seems to have taken a back seat to a group of college graduates blowing shit up in Adobe Premier.

Dredd was good, but the genre really is running thin on the ground now.

Any new movie suggestions along the lines of Wild Tales, Her and The Lobster (people being weird/quirky and at times violent)?

That was quick! I haven't seen Kill List actually (or even heard of it), I'll definitely check that out.

Ghost World is already on my list but there's a few others there that look pretty good so I'll add those too (I've got a lot of movies to get through now).
