The honeymoon looks to have ended earlier than expected. They are delusional enough to think that Golum is the right man to rebuild their squad. Actually they don't need to rebuild, in reality they wouldn't swap any of our players for theirs, or so they say ;D. Hope De Gea holds on tight this summer so that he can leave on a free the following summer. He looks like his head isn't there anymore.

I once wore one when I was about 7 in primary school because I had thrown up over my clothes and it was the only thing in lost property that fit me. I proceeded to throw up all over that too and got to go home.

When we had our first son, someone in her family bought a Man Utd bib for him, club crest right in the middle. I always put it on him and rubbed food and puke all over the badge.

Need them to beat West Ham so they put pressure on Spurs and it will force both of them to go for points against Man City.

True story... I actually lost a bet in a game of pool to my manc supporting cousin 2 years ago. The forfeit at the time was that if I won, he had to come on a night out wearing a Liverpool shirt. If he won, then I would have to come on a night out wearing a Man Utd shirt. I've been ducking out of doing it since. He doesn't know it yet, but I've decided that on April 24th, I'm going to make good on my end of the bargain, don the red and black, go down his local, and absolutely roar these horrible fuckers on against City. To say that I can't wait to see the look on his face is quite an understatement. The sense of schadenfreude will be beautiful.

 ;D

Please tell me he has lent you a Utd kit since then  :D

Yeah...that's fine and all but don't place any hopes on Spurs getting something from the league game. Even if they find themselves ahead they will Spurs it. Fuckers picked the wrong game to get something out of City. :)

Liverpool are in advanced talks with Nike over a new long-term kit deal which is expected to exceed the value of Manchester United's £750m agreement with Adidas and become the biggest ever struck by a Premier League club. (ESPN FC)

Why is this c*nt banging on about getting 15 points from last 6?

Surely he should be saying, they want 18 points.

Just an odd thing to say.

If they lose this weekend he’ll still be asking for 15 points

I'm not so sure. It's no different is it to the 40points target or whatever to avoid relegation.
If it's still 15 they need, with 4 games to go, then it will be interesting to see what he says then. Although of course the landscape might have changed by then (hopefully with them having picked up 3 points vs City!)

Not doubting that he’s a snide little prick, but why should he accept £200k when he see Sanchez earning 500k despite playing a whole lot more than him? Plus he knows that by becoming a free agent he’ll get a big fat signing on fee and a pay rise elsewhere, and probably for a better club.

yup, Sanchez set the bar, even taking into account the lower fee inflating the wage a bit their top players like de gea/pogba should be looking at £400k minimum to stay

Well if the rumour mill is to be believed (it rarely is) and PSG want him, then he might get 200+ but I seriously doubt he's inundated with offers. We're not talking about an elite player here. Sanchez wages are a legitimate benchmark for top players like DeGea. But Herrera?  There's literally dozens of better midfielders in the world. He's not even among United's best midfielders.

Tactical masterclass from Ole: “Manchester United should look to 1999 for Camp Nou inspiration, says Solskjær.” His managerial philosophy seems to rest entirely on Sir Alex, 1999, injury time and a mythical “united way” which has no basis in the clubs history. Long it may continue.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/apr/10/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-manchester-united-barcelona-camp-nou-1999?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

Has anyone pointed out to him that this isn’t any kind of strategy. How can a huge amount of luck for a completely different team from 20 years ago have any relevance to now. Of course, you fight to the end. Look at our team and how they play to the last second. But relying on luck isn’t a tactic. The new manager bounce and optimism from the sentimental appointment of Solskjaer appeared to give a huge boost of confidence and adrenaline, but now that’s worn off, does he have the ability to coach them to that level all season?...

I don’t know. I think he needs a lot of man management. He swans around like he’s done it all already. Any player with that attitude is unlikely to progress. I’d imagine it requires a lot of motivation, training and keeping your talents sharp, to even stay at the same level when you’re playing in the elite. It’s like when people talk about talented people who “burned out” in other fields (academia, law, art, etc). That usually happens because people stop learning, adapting and, even, trying. Talent requires application at the top level of anything. The best attitude to have is that you’ve still got more to learn and gain.

I once wore one when I was about 7 in primary school because I had thrown up over my clothes and it was the only thing in lost property that fit me. I proceeded to throw up all over that too and got to go home.
Hahaha to be fair in our local boozer they used to have loads of footie shirts on the wall. I was off my face on drugs and these girls stripped me for my hoody, coat and t shirt. I wasn't gonna stand there all night without anything on so I grabbed a Man City shirt off the wall and wore that. That was like 2011, who knew? Wouldn't again mind. There's a picture of me in that. The only other shirt I've worn was an Arsenal one as all my mates support Arsenal and they played United in a league deciding game, I can't even remember which season it was, but Arsenal lost I think and I threw the shirt on the floor and put something else on ;D

I wouldn't pay tuppence for Pogba. His team will never be the club that pays his salary. Instead it is the fictitious 'team' of 'superstars' who are scattered among 20 or so clubs in Europe and occasionally meet in European competition. When they do, as happened with Man United and Barcelona the other night, you'll see Pogba come alight in the players' tunnel before the match and at half time and full time. This is when he moves quickest - heading to his fellow 'super stars' for a joke and a loving embrace before the cameras or again at the final whistle for their jersey and another animated chat.

Pogba probably exchanged more words to Lionel Messi on Wednesday night than he'd spare for his humdrum Man United teammates all season. The really sad thing is that Messi probably thinks he's a wanker.
