It's just one of those stories again. From what I've heard from the German commentary he might not even have played hadn't another player been suspended and then he scores twice in the first twelve minutes. Really happy for him as he's a great guy...

Ajax won 3-1 at Willem II.

Their manager Peter Bosz fielded the youngest starting XI in Eredivisie history for the game, with an average age of 20 years and 139 days.

Captain Davy Klaassen, at the age of 24, was the only player over 21 starting. But goals from Kasper Dolberg, Davinson Sanchez and Klaassen proved to be in vain for their title hopes.
There was a two-minute interlude where Liverpool’s three-man attack squared up against United’s three-man defence and basically stalked them back into their own penalty area, like battle-hardened mountain wolves closing in on a flock of geriatric sheep.  Barney Ronay at Anfield @barneyronay Sun 19 Jan 2020 20.36 GMT

Yip- Feyenoord is a vivacious, boisterous and intimidating bunch! ;D

They really should've knocked United out of the EL earlier in the season though.

God, I fucking love Dirk! One of my all-time favourite players. I know he wasn't always pretty to watch and Christ he had his doubters on here (ahem Yorkykopite & Rossipersempre), but he almost always stepped up on the big occasion. Just like he did at the weekend for Feyenoord. I'd kill for a player like him in our squad today and I'm sure Klopp would too. Legend. Made up for him.
