Think I might bin it.
I kept watching it mainly for the rivalry between Rhoades with Axelrod. Now they are pals it's all turned to be a bit meh. Bobby wants to floor Mason, we get it but the series wants to remind you in every episode.
Next season he may find a new guy to rival and feed off or even clash with Chuck again. Rhoades is either in power or powerless. Whatever it is, seemingly does not last long and feels like it's rinse and repeat.
All I'm saying is I gather there is no end in sight and they might be repeating a certain pattern.
Plus it is a big minus imo that its main character i a scumbag with no redeeming qualities.
I'm getting to that point too. There are not any characters with redeeming qualities, as you say Chuck (and Axe) both seem to be down and out and then one call/bluff and they are back on top again at the expense of a bunch of people. I get that is maybe the point and the moral ambiguity is part of it but it's so cartoonish at this point.
That part reminds me of the Ozarks...they are about to be discovered or caught but then someone does something and it's all taken care of
The pop culture references for me have become tiresome, I know its a writing style and part of the 'fabric' of the show but its starting to get overused for me. I don't believe in Wags as a character either. He'll always be Gale from Breaking Bad. They are as bad as Chucks 'There was once a man who did something and he learned this lesson' analogies (or is it metaphors)
