Love the thread btw
From here on in its all FSG's doing. Good or bad they will stand or fall by the decisions they have made in the summer of 2012. Lets hope they have gotten it right.

You could try asking Daft punk....

Apparently Daft Punk will appear in the new Tron: Legacy movie, as DJs in some ridiculously end-of-the-world virtual night-club.....with their helmets off.

This is a great thread! :)

huaraches?  tk max a year ago and you could have cleaned up but i'm afraid they have a 'contemporary take' on them that's just a bit shit.

i will eventually get round to photographing some of my best and get them up here but we're having a baby in two weeks so time is precious.

its not all doom and gloom though - i've got killer kicks ;D

so pretty....

Along with the previously shown SK8-Hi’s, Vans Vault drops two colorways of the almighty Era, featuring this season’s Inca Flower motif. Both take on an embroidered mid panel with suede and leather tow options. Look for these now through finer Vans Vault accounts, including Proper.

these are super duper.  i'm a big fan of the footscape.  still have a box fresh hiroshi fujiwara limited editions to break in that are a very fetching fluro yellow.  black for me this time though.  brrap!  brrap!

The Nike Air Footscape comes for Fall 2010 in two new colorways. While the upper is tonal, it comes with a faded structure. Both the black and the military green colorways will release this month at Limited EDT.

i'd take the purple over the pink but could definitely rock both.  white cut off denims; navy blue v neck; ultragold tear drop aviators in the white gold and off you go.  wallop.  best look this summer ;D

No wonder you were a scarf (I expect you'll tell me it's woven from the arse fluff from the peruvian moutain mouse) and shades (fashioned from purest green no doubt) If you wear trabs like that.
Calling them pretty is one of, if not the gayest things I think I've ever read about trabs. You do know all this urban chic fashion culture stems back from one thing, scrapping at the matches don't you? If it wasn't for scousers you'd all still be wearing bermo's and tank tops.

i tried to work with the director gordon on this project a few years ago but it didn't work out.  bless him.

the footage he has in his archive is amazing so i would suggest if you are inclined to the rather simplistic theory that "all this urban chic fashion culture stems back from" terrace culture you will find this rather interesting.

If only I could find a place where this isn't sold out:

Nigel Cabourn's stunning Indian Drill bag, made from reclaimed WWII Indian Khaki, beautifully and sensitively detailed, this has got to be the loveliest flight bag available for men currently?

out of town.  just opened in clerkenwell.  AMAZING vintage stuff in there from bags to 2nd world US infantry jackets to maps of the english coast for german u-boat commanders (i bought that already i'm afraid).  will get you full address on monday but its been set up by village green.  they are my bezzies:

They did the Glasvegas artwork? Excellent effort, I often stare at the cover of the self-titled album, it's a thing of rare-beauty. Always reminds me of what would happen should Van Gogh and Artex ever meet in the same room :)

How about this monstrosity at Sneijder's wedding (who's wearing the worst suit of the year):

"I know Liverpool fans care more about their club's success than the national team." Rafael Benitez

"Still we've had the hard times too - one year we finished second." Bob Paisley

"When zonal marking goes wrong, the system is blamed. When man-to-man marking fails, an individual is blamed and the system goes uncriticised." A LFC fan talking sense
