Trainer alert.
D H Jones ..  Not expecting much of these ,trainer does like big price winners but usually his horses go well in the summer when we sometimes get a nod.

Had a look there! Both seem to be drifting big time in the markets at the moment.  :-\ 'All Right Now' has gone from 66/1 to 100/1 and 'Parhelion' from 20/1 to 28 /1.Might still have a little flutter though!Cant hurt!

My outside bet for the weekend is Camilo Villegas in the Sony Hawaiian Open. He's kicking the weekend off at 45/1 on PP and think hes well worth an each way punt.

Also if you are looking to pump up an accy I think Munster (+5) at 10/11 also with PP is a reasonable shout.I personally think Munster will win this game but it promises to be a close encounter. They will be lifted by the return of there long sidelined skipper Paul O'Connell and beat Toulon well in the corresponding fixture.

Thats all for now!  :wave

Festival King in the 3.20 at Musselburgh. Was hanging around @ 10/1 this morning, won here before, and has had 3 decent races since his return last sep/oct. 3rd a couple of weeks ago over 2.4m but looked like he could do with the extra distance.
Bet 1, Lyon v B Munich...No Hat Trick @ 1.03.

Basically trying to do anything but study so just having a quick scan. Rarely touch the horse racing, but like to keep an eye on things.

Wolverhampton 4.40. Itsthursdayalready. Watched him at Southwell on Sunday and won well. Obviously goes up, but 6lb shouldnt be that much off a problem, in what is a rather poor field. 5/2 for a horse who has a form of 23231 in similar class races shouldnt be ignored for me.

5.10 at Wolves aswell theres a horse running called Onceuponatime. A massive 16/1 on betfair for some reason, when ive seen a couple of people tipping it up.Runs off a very good mark, finished second a week or two ago at Southwall. Wide draw shouldnt really matter as hes a hold up horse, and should push for at least a place.
Bet 1, Lyon v B Munich...No Hat Trick @ 1.03.

Gutted with the first, thought he would piss it, but he was pulling from the start never gave the jockey a hope in hell, did well to even get 4th. Second race just finished, ran very well towards the end and ended up finishing 2nd. Not sure what he went off at on betfair but was 12/1 in the bookies when I left. Didnt get on though :(

Nipped to the bookies earlier and the 11/2 special on Binocular and Kauto was too good to ignore. Stuck £20 on it.
Binocular was bloody impressive in the last race. Just hoping McCoy can repeat it with Kauto now.

Not sure on the strength of the race that. I had Remember Now done as a horse to pick up a decent Novice Handicap Hurdle in the Spring as the last two outings spanked of a big yard getting a horse a reasonable mark to pick up one of those with. The run today showed there's ability there and it'll be interesting to see what mark he gets.

First day of the Ozzie Open in the morning and I've grouped 5 players together for 2 bets in the first round.

Firstly a treble of Nishikori, Stakhovsky and Fish that pays 6/4 with Baldy.

Nishikori had a good win over Cilic in Chennai on his run to QFs before he was dispatched by Tipsarevic and usually turns in good performances at GS with wins over Ferrer and del Potro in the past. Fognini's lack of serve usually shows him up on any service other than clay and I'm expecting that to happen here. He's been knocked out in the first round of both comps he's entered this season and surrendered 14 break point opportunities to Nalbandian in 2 sets in his last match so his serve is almost worthless on this surface. He might sneak one set but I can't see him holding his serve holding out long enough to bring him 3 and if Nishikori stays patient he should prosper.

Stakhovsky, I'm a big fan of. He faltered a fair bit towards the end of last season but showed enough last season in winning a couple of titles that he has the game to make an impression this year. He reached the QF's in Sydney before crashing out to Gulbis. Brands isn't anything special and has lost both his matches this year in straight sets. 1/4 isn't a stand out price but a good price to build up a bet.

Fish is probably the riskiest element of the bet but I think he'll have enough to see of Hanescu. A little concerned about Fish's defeat to Stepanek but Stepanek's unorthodox style might be the reason why he struggled in that one. Hanescu won't throw anything at him out of the ordinary and is fairly ordinary from the back of the court so I struggle to see what weapons he has that will hurt Fish. We've seen in the past that Hanescu can go missing in matches and I think Fish will pounce on it.

Second bet is a French double of Mahut & Mannarino @ 6/4 with Boylesports.

I'm opposing Dabul here more than backing Mahut as I don't think a great deal of him. Makes his money playing challengers on clay and usually doesn't do a huge amount once he steps up to ATP level (he has a 1-5 record at Grand Slam level and a losing record at ATP level) and I'm expecting the same here. Mahut struggled a little when qualifying and had a couple of 3 setters but I feel he'll be good enough and the price is a little generous at 4/7.

I was originally going to back Dulko on the handicap against Wozniacki but I've talked myself out of it and I've settled on Mannarino. Mannarino's had a good start to the year and pushed Almagro last time out in Auckland. He has a very solid service game and should pick up a lot of cheap points. Harrison's never done a lot outside of America and I expect that trend to continue here. His service game isn't as strong as Mannarino's and I think the superior service of Mannarino will give him the edge.

Antepost wise, I've backed Soderling and Azarenka. I'll lookto trade off a little once they get further in the tournament.
If you're reading this signature as a result of reading a post of mine in 'The Bets Thread', then please ignore the aforementioned post as I'm likely to be spouting bollocks and if you follow me, you'll lose money. Thank You.

I'm swerving Del Potro now, was only going to do it as I was unsure how he'll play and wouldn't forgive myself for taking 40/1. I know now he's no chance, it'll take a while for him to get back in terms of his stamina, because his all round game looked very good still in my opinion.

£2 Charlie bet on Dolgo, main one on Soderling as well. Women's side, I'm taking Wozniacki. She's got a fucking terrible draw, but I think she'll win her 1/4 regardless. She's a boring twat and I take pleasure out of seeing her lose, so it's win win for me on that front.
