You'd think gamers would have learned to reign in their expectations by now. This happens for every game. The developers didn't know last year what the final product would look like.
It happens now...back in the old C&VG days, the games used to come out looking
better than the screenshots...or at least that's how I remember it. They would work up until release day to improve it.
Now they make some amazing CGI fake-up two years in advance, we all swallow it, and they furiously spend the days up to release trying to downgrade everything in order for it to actually be a game, with moving characters and bearable frame rate, etc., all those unimportant details
Does seem arse backwards. Still, I loved the second game and this is bound to look better so I'm not really bothered.
