It would be fucking hilarious if he ever announced his international retirement. Not sure he would ever do it though: on the one hand it would appeal to his sense of self importance, on the other hand its his beloved England for which club football has always just been a means to an end to him. If he has any sense he will retire altogether when united dispense of his services next week.

I can't help but feel a bit smug. This is karma if anything.

He was all about his place in the England squad and now.....  :-X :lmao

He needs to shut up. Yes, he was the reason I started supporting Liverpool and I will always be thankful for that but seriously....

Michael....you made your own bed when you left the greatest club in the world. Stop complaining.

You know what, despite the vitriol I still think he's a very talented footballer and had he made a more ethical choice when leaving Newcastle such as Hull (or helped them back up) then I think he probably would have stayed in the England set up, assuming he was injury free. Literally sold his soul to the devil and has snubbed every opportunity at redemption. You can be a twat and redeem yourself, look at Anelka, Pennant and Bellamy, shit even Joey Barton's kept his head down, and as a result has been linked with us. Karma's a bitch Michael.

Extra subs in Europe, they will have more than one striker on the bench. Pretty certain he will be in the squad and will more than likely come on (as long as they are losing).

“As they say, if you can’t beat them, join them,” Owen told MUTV. “I won a lot of trophies with Liverpool but to win the Premier League is the pinnacle of anyone’s career.

Got sent this quote by someone. I actually had to check that it was true, didn't watch any of Utd's final games and trophy presentation. What saddens me is that I was actually surprised that he could say something like that.

This c*nt should never, ever be allowed any of the privileges a former player may have. What's going to piss me off is that the fucker might still show up at Anfield a few years after he retires / use his playing time with us as a springboard for a media career due to his friendships with Carra and Gerrard.

Surely anybody signing Owen on the basis of that brochure could get a refund as charismatic he most definitely isn't!

Love how he thinks playing for just over 120 minutes total this season is enough to warrant an England call-up.

Is it really that hard to understand Michael ?  You can't take a shit without tearing your arse apart and needing 6 weeks to recuperate from that and when you do get on the pitch, your play resembles the massive shit that tore your arse apart in the first place.  Not rocket science is it ?
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

He won't play. The only reason Ferguson bought him was out of spite - Berbatov and Nani (on the bench if reports are to be believed) will be on the bench and are much more likely to come on.

Of course, if comes on and scores the winner, my faith in God will be seriously tested.

Seeing him miss a sitter tonight in the 93rd minute with the game finely poised at 1-1 then Barca breaking and duck face scores an OG would do for me.

The man is a self obsessed, deluded prick!! I didn't like him when he was playing for us and had to argue the toss with other Liverpool fans EVERY transfer window before he signed for the mancs! He'll be made up with his League Championship medal and,if they beat Barca, his Champions league medal- he won't be arsed that he's made fuck all contribution as it'll be there in print in books recording football achievements. I bet the little tit has a Panini Mexico '86 sticker album with a sticker of himself in place of Gary Lineker!
