Everything working perfectly for me today without a VPN. Blocks obviously are not an issue here somehow. If only I could extend my sub it would be great!

I haven't bothered with a VPN, and when I asked why to use one (as it worked fine), I got no reply.

If you go to the browser streams page it basically says to use Kodi for ALL PL stuff now.

On Demand section is still nice and works in the browser though

you'll only need a VPN if in the UK, looking at your username, assume you aren't so you should be fine as it's only some UK ISPs that are blocking

try downgrading to an earlier version of Kodi, mine workers fine still on 16.1

It's okay for Champions League games, only affect Premier League games.

You don't need a VPN for European games. It's the EPL games that require a VPN.

Defo suspect. They always giving BS reason and as you say this happened towards the end of last season and then they said it would all be fixed for next (this) season. The fact they havent accepted any new payments for a long time now suggests to me that its the beginning of the end for SM.

Yeah the payment thing is highly suspect. Going on too long now. Maybe they can't find a payment company willing to take in the cash for their service? Or else they are trying to weed out a few customers but can't see the how as they've promised everyone it will be back soon...

What are the alternatives for when it goes bust? Probably nothing as good sports wise is there?

Honestly it's getting a bit weird now, I'd urge anyone not to enter there card details on the new system, they used stripe previously which is a reputable company but evidently they won't be using that anymore.

The forum also isn't secure. You might not think that matter for a forum but considering you use the same details as your login to renew/sign up I do think it matters.

Agree with this.

I use a prepaid card for things like this. Was with Offside Streams a couple of year ago and they just kept billing even when cancelled account, had to cancel card in end.

Prepaid all the way, better safe than sorry.

I signed up with a guy on Saturday,£25 for the year if you ask him before buying your sub he will give you the discount code.I don't expect it to last the year but it has all the channels,games,ppv and VOD.

So far it has been perfect,the odd kick out but it works straight away again.You can add it to kodi or even download the app using firedl.PM if you want his facebook page.

Best thing is that you can pay with paypal.

I'm up to over a month of free SM now so they've bought me off for a while! Cheers for the alternative.

I don't like the situation at the moment, but only 2 things are making me not jump (other than the fact it's free)

1) The fact the payment system is down means it's difficult - not impossible - to do an exit scam. As in, if they were still taking payment but not delivering the service, yes, I could see them vanishing in short order, that's classic.
2) Their Facebook and Twitter pages were genuinely shite and risky, and the explanatory post in the forum is reasonable enough and pretty detailed.

The forum is getting a bit of traffic and more posts from the membership, so if they're planning to do one, it's a strange way of doing it.

I'll have another couple of weeks risk-free, ta muchly!

SM has been top notch for reliability since early on in the year for me, might not have as many links for games since this highcourt judgement came out but the matchday option always works fine every time. Hopefully they get all the other links back in the next couple of weeks with the judges work around. I did look into Flawless but one of the first thing that came up on Google search was a link to people complaining that the trial high court judgement at the end of last year hit them hard as well.

StreamCentre took over StreamTVBox when they did one along with Xunitytalk. They are pretty much a Vader reseller by the looks of them same layout, channels guide etc.

If going down the IPTV route, flawless didn't have any issues with last week's 3pm games.

I've just signed up to Redemption for a 48 hour trial, no issues last week apparently, cost is $5 but if you go on to Subscribe they will take it off the cost of your subscription.

It's a little more expensive than SM, $90 for Sports compared to £50 for the year (around £20 more) but not too bad really. I'll leave some feedback after the weekend
