They seem to really want the club to play hardball over the Gordon deal but I think deep down they will be terrified that Chelsea walk away. Would be complete incompetence if they don't get a deal done now given what they've already turned down.

It's a mural that is funnier left alone (instead of people vandalizing it).

The only funnier this would be a sign separate from the mural that said "Legends. :lmao"

I don't know why you find it amusing. They avoided relegation last season with those players. That's far better than winning any trophy.

If they sell Gordon to Chelsea for any amount of money that alone should win them the transfer window trophy.  ;D

Looks like Dele Alli will join Beşiktaş on loan. Surprised to see he is still only 26, how did he fuck his career this quickly? It went all down for him since Pochettino left.

Crazy that Chelsea offered 45m in 2nd bid. With the face he has, I'm sure they want to use him for money laundering services.

I'm assuming that and fee/wage coverage goes to Everton? But why would Tottenham be happy as Everton are making a profit off a transfer between Everton and Beşiktaş for a player Tottenham should be getting money for based on appearances for Everton as that was the agreement for the original free transfer.

If I was Tottenham I would be a bit pissed as I could have just offloaded him to Beşiktaş first and got a loan fee/transfer fee from them. Now they are literally losing a player for nothing as he'll never fulfill the original agreement with Everton, while Everton make money off Beşiktaş, or am I missing something?

and yes my brain nearly popped thinking about that, I'll go lie down

Was listening to Nedum Onuoha on ESPN and he mentioned as his playing days were winding down he had options to go play in Turkey. When he checked into it, he found that Turkish clubs weren't that forthcoming in paying. So he jibbed the chance.

Good luck to Dele and getting his salary.

The latest link is apparently Adnan Januzaj again. Would perhaps be the funniest player they could replace Gordon with to be honest. He has won a trophy though.

Him, an injury prone Calvert Lewin, Demarai Gray, Dwight McNeil and a finished Andros Townsend. That's the worst attack in the league. Down with 8 goals between them.

Not really true in this market with the amount of games he has played/started for them, them rejecting the bids they have received is quite mad though.

I'd love it if Gordon gave an indication he wanted to go but Chelsea just walked away,  I'll bet they have spent the money in their heads now. "Hey Bill, let's ask for Ł65m, they are proper loaded and desperate"

4 goals in 71 games or is he some sort of winger?

I reckon this was done in January after Van de beek and Alli signed.

Van De Beek only made 7 appearances.

Crazy how bad their window has been. Interesting to see how scraped the barrel is this time in two weeks. I'm hoping for a Gordon sale and a 40 million bid accepted for Broja who's only scored six Premier League goals.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they had found a wall with enough room to include their current first team at the time, they could have updated it every window or something without there needing to be any implication of player quality like you have with their idiotic version.
