David Amoo was released from Partick Thistle and has signed a 1 year deal with L2 Cambridge United.

Amoo made 71 appearances over 2 seasons with the SPL club.

He last played in League Two with Carlisle United in the 14-15 season

Stephen Darby, 29, has been let go from Bradford City after 5 seasons with them and captaining the side since 2014, after losing his starting place.

Think Jack Dunn has signed for Tranmere.

Good luck to him.

He was a decent prospect that suffered from a stop start time at Liverpool. Shame really I thought he had a chance

Think Jack Dunn has signed for Tranmere.

He got a one year deal, which doesn't sound like they have much confidence in him, seeing as he had been there already on loan.

Stop start at Tranmere too injury wise. Could explain the length of the contract.

The extraordinary career of Markus Babbel and what he will bring to Western Sydney Wanderers

There's far more to the Wanderers new coach than meets the eye.

German international Markus Babbel was announced as the surprise new coach of A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday.

Replacing Spaniard Josep Gombau, who couldn't guide the red and black to finals last season, Babbel has signed a three-year contract with Western Sydney after coaching stints in Germany and Switzerland.

Still known more for his playing career than his managerial exploits, Goal takes a deeper look at the man set to lead the Wanderers for seasons to come...
