Yeah I'm all up for the squad cap anyway.

How does everyone feel about 50? at least with that you would have to be somewhat selective.

I have 37 (31 + 6 youth) but I have 24 on loan. But I have no objection with 50, once I manage go get rid of the useless ones

*edit: Actually. Speaking of that, with so few clubs in the league will external club bid for players you put up for sale?

I think we can afford a bit of leeway with the loans for the first season at least. Its when they get recalled, that we can sort out who you want and dont.

At least if we put a squad cap in effect, it would make the game more interesting for managers. A manger would have to work harder to 'manage' his affairs and put some thought into what he's upto. Not just going gong ho about his business.
Plus as time goes by, with lots of young players get released if they cant get transfered out, the gameworld will be stocked up with some good young talent in the free agent catergory, and any of us could go pick up a decent player when needed.

Thats where it could get interesting, you'd be forced to release players on frees. Making you think twice about who you do sign

Bit weird alright. I checked the advanced rules on the game, and theres no option to knock off external clubs buying players, so they must be able to buy. I didn't knock it off by accident or anything. Maybe the gameworld doesn't actually start till the first proper match

Interesting

I hope this lack of transfer bids from external clubs has nothing to do with me knocking off transfers from unmanged teams. I'd hate to have to knock that off

Im not getting much bids in the rawk one either. If it doesn't pick up when the gameworld kicks off proper, by say game 3, i'll knock the option off, and we'll just all have to agree not to buy off the other clubs in the leagues

I'll check the unmanaged squads daily to see if any bids have been made, and then pm the people about their 'mistake'. :D
The only thing would be external clubs bidding but they usually only bid for players that play for their teams in real life, so it should be ok

Scratch that, have now.

The only thing i can think of is like i said earlier, external clubs will mostly only bid on a player if he plays for that club in real life, so there might be few bids, as all the players on the transfer list, are already with their real clubs

Very happy with my new recruits.

Rui Particio as a back up keeper

Ogbonna
Douglas
Trasch all for defense

Tiote and Sissoko to cement the CM/DM positions

Dsuzkdkakrkak you know who I mean the Hungarian

Then up front the ever great Ligue 1 player Pierre score for a fun yembg.

Didn't realise the season had started so I took out 8 starters to get morale in the squad up. Needless to say I failed miserably and lost 1-2 to Bayern :(

Always nice to start the campaign with a win, especially when its away from home to a good team like chelsea. Would of been a whitewash had xavi not been sent off

In other news, the Spurs manager has quit his post........before a ball was even kicked.........and after they made an absolute shitload of signings ::)   Despair sometimes

I didnt realise the season started yesterday.

I might quit United, find it too hard to concentrate on two teams in two leagues.
