Always odd when a club builds thier entire transfer window around someone just to sack them so soon. Not really sure they have the attacking quality to be better than they have been over the last 18 months

He’s quite good at engineering this situation, gets a payoff, finds a new job, rinse and repeat.
I mean it's more classic Chelsea than anything

They should probably go for Potter, but not sure he'd go considering Boehly is proving to be absolutely unequivocally bonkers.

They’ve bought a shit ton of players. Quite the scattergun approach but annoyingly I’d say there’s a fair bit for a competent new coach, who gets the buy in from the players to work with. Is Pochettino the obvious choice then? They quite like they’re random Italian appointments over the years…any other contenders?

Bizarre timing. Give him all that money to spend then sack him.

I'd imagine they'd try and appoint whoever gets a bit of praise in the media on that particular week or is linked to another club, seemed to be their transfer strategy.

They've got good players, but it's a top 4ish side and that's what they've been under Tuchel and still look like. An attack of Sterling, Havertz, mount and Pulisic/ziyech just isn't enough to compete at the top of the league. Guess the thinking is a new manager gets a few extra points over a season than Tuchel to make top 4 more likely. But unless he's pissed off the players not sure say Pochettino is a better a manager.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Rodgers will be kicking himself that he's had such a bad start.  Potter might get an interview.

Max Allegri maybe.

How Boehly has acted so far it could be anyone.  It would be great if he appointed Emma Hayes.

Looking at the Premier League, the only managers I could even begin to imagine them going for are Potter or Frank. Even Boehly wouldn't be crazy enough to look at Rodgers right now.

When you look abroad, there just isn't much depth in terms of elite managers. Nagelsmann comes to mind but surely wouldn't leave Bayern right now. Pochettino just feels the logical move, especially as he's out of work.

That is some short fuse their new owner has. They replace half a team and he can't wait a few weeks for them to get at least a bit used to playing with each other. Crazy, but not unexpected. Who next is the question? Pochetino perhaps, not many great managers out there.

I would love it if Frank went back, just for the fewm at the pit.
