Imagine the outrage as the pigeon grabs a smoke grenade from the pitch then lashes it into the crowd. They'll be foaming at the mouth, purple faces contorted with rage, demanding he's banned.

Surely he starts the season with a ban for that?

How will the blues react next season when the snide bastard scores against them and celebrates wildly?

Has he ever celebrated wildly?  ;D

Always has that miserable face on him, like it’s such a chore being a professional footballer in the world’s best league, no matter whether he scores or not!

Be funny if he broke that habit at Goodison however….

Spurs haven't won a trophy for 14 years and they're still a huge step up from Everton.  Kinda funny when you think about it.

Remember this though. Three or four years ago, they were fighting with spurs for players.

Now?

They are selling to them because they have been forced to sell by the league

How did the last 4/5 years go for you Everton fans?

Are they linked with anyone to replace him? I don't really think he's all that but it's hard to argue he didn't help keep them up.

They're going straight back into a relegation battle aren't they?
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

My brother still lives on Merseyside, he doesn't really follow football but is a red if asked.  He's fitting some Everton fans kitchen who apparently has been a right twat (shock, horror) he borrowed an Everton Richarlison shirt and went in today with it on.  The blokes missus had to escort the twat out as he was going nuts, my brother just carried on working laughing his tits off.  She came back and apologised for her husband being a prick. I love Everton fans.

They will have no money. Lingaard, Yarmelenko or a loan move for one of Uniteds average youngsters?

Not sure. Everton basically had to sell him the help balance the books more than anything, so I can't see them spending much on a replacement.

I think the PL 'wrote to him to ask him his thoughts'. So no charge.

They did the same to Harvey after the League Cup final, to which I assume Harvey responded 'It was awesome, thanks for asking'.    Harvey didn't chuck the flare into the crowd though.

Dennis was the rumour. Purple patch aside at the start of last season he didn't really do anything, but that may have been more down to Watford and Hodgson than him. Definitely weakens them on paper though.

They will pay for someone who is a squad player or reserve at one of the big clubs in the Premier League or La Liga. The said player will score 2 goals in his first 5 games and the Bitters will hail him as better than Salah. Then the ‘coaching’ at Woodison and the negativity around the place will kick in. The player will depart for Rotherham United on a free at the end of his contract having scored 5 goals a season on average.

My workings out show they can spend some money, approx £20m but that includes wages and shit.  I think this may allow them to skirt past FFP and bring in a few on loan, maybe a cheapish signing.  That said, it's telling that haven't announced Tarkowski yet, maybe that comes out of that money.

Presumably the ‘big 6s’ clubs? The ones involved with the ESL?

Because Everton would never be in a group of clubs leading a breakaway from the existing set up. Thankfullybhh the hey have too much class and dignity to ever do that.

They needed a cash sale before the accounting year flips tomorrow. They might start buying players now and have kept their powder dry until that turns.

If they do get a takeover then new owners do usually spend in their first window to get the fans onside. They're under scrutiny though for FFP so they won't be going mad with a possible legal challenge from Burnley, but it's clear the PL have no interest in punishing them.

Here’s a mad stat. Of Everton’s 31 wins with Richarlison playing and scoring, all comps, he scored 18 winning goals.

In the league, it’s 16 game winning goals for the 24 wins. They averaged 1.97 points when he scored.

(In comparison, Salah scored 43 winning goals in 99 wins in games that he scored, with an average 2.55 PPG)

He wasn’t exactly prolific, but he won them important points when he did score.

There is no doubt he was instrumental in them staying up, they don’t have anyone one else in the squad who can do the same next season.
