Kohli’s such a twat.

I believe his own team thinks so too.

Is anyone capable of giving Broad instructions? For several years now he has appeared to do just what he wants to do. I'm glad he got slapped for 35.

That’s really poor umpiring, not that it makes a major difference.

Potts is absolutely crap with the stick. In a country where he’s not got conditions helping him he’ll be borderline unplayable. Contributes nothing and makes the tail very lengthy.

Clearly not out. The one that Root wasn't given the other day was a clean catch, though.

Marais Erasmus is still an appalling umpire, whether 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

Leaving aside our home bias, this ‘soft signal’ is a bit of a lottery isn’t it?

That is difference India claimed it Root should he wasnt sure.

You have to be ruthless and let umpire make the call

only as much as any umpiring decision. it should be scrapped though, just let the 3rd make a decision.

It's a cop-out. And it's not home bias, it's seeing what's right in front of you.

What is the point of the soft signal from Aleem Dar? He clearly didn’t see it or could not have seen if it bounced or not so why is he in a position to make that call?

Test cricket is a cracking game but sometimes the pace of play is atrocious. Constantly losing overs through bollocks like changing the ball every 5 minutes. As soon as a team realise their bowlers are ordinary without help they’re looking for a change.

Cooler, fresher day apparently and no swing. England’s very slim hopes rest on getting early wickets but it’s not looking good.

Wicket!!!

I know it’s a long shot but if England have to chase 400-450 I give them a chance

Only if we tell them they have 50 overs to chase it in.

The weather should be alright today and tomorrow (although might favour the bowlers if its a bit cloudy) but think we need to get them out pretty cheaply

That was a tough chance to be fair

We seem to like the tactic which got Pujara out, which is bowl absolute muck and hope the batsman fucks up and gets himself out

I know Gerry's not convinced by Potts, but I think he's been excellent. You can see his game actually maturing before your eyes. That's what you want from a young player in his first series - and so rarely get.
