Much better.
Loving Everton's business this summer. Here's an early call - they finish above Liverpool this season.

An assist. I hope we all can get past with all of this "greedy" narrative anymore. Hope nobody will accuse him of this "attitude" in future. It's totally ridiculous.

He got wrecked … he either loses the 1 on 1 with him or ends up giving him so much space he can pick his pass as he did for the first and third goals
In both league games last season we were somewhat out played but Salahs mismatch allowed us to compete and always be dangerous - Cancelo can’t deal with him

Anyway evidence from yesterday for you
https://twitter.com/lfcmuh/status/1553491398720163840?s=24&t=mHiNGToj6zl20RsvVYVHfg

Salah was sensational - rarely gave the ball away, while he was a constant threat, and involved in all 3 goals.  He will be a monster again this season.

Well he's not going to be greedy now Mane has left is he.

Sorry sorry... I'm in preseason shape - way off it ....
He produced 0.83 xg and 0.25xa in one 90?!!! ...while completing 94% of his passes - basically destroyed them while never risking possession.
Okay, good to get a rep in, the work continues

thanks for these  stats

Him and Elliot have a great link up. He needs an RCM close to him who can play it short, give and go etc.

I think starting Elliot and Nunez gets best out of him going forward.

+ thisisanfield.com: "Salah sets new Premier League record – and equals Shearer, Rooney & Lampard"

The No. 11 weathered a quiet start to tee up the first equaliser for Darwin Nunez and then convert his own, after two efforts from Aleksandar Mitrovic.

In doing so, Salah scored in his six consecutive opening-day fixture in the Premier League, following previous efforts against Watford (2017), West Ham (2018), Norwich (2019), Leeds (2020) and Norwich again (2021).

No other player in the history of the current English top flight has scored in five opening games in a row, let alone six.

Over those six openers, Salah has found the back of the net an impressive eight times – including a hat-trick in the 4-3 victory over Leeds in 2020.

Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard are the only other players to score eight opening-day goals, and Salah has done so in less than half the amount of appearances than any of those.

An eighth such strike has seen Salah move clear of Jamie Vardy, though the Leicester striker could draw level again or even overtake if he nets against Brentford on Sunday.

It is another ridiculous feat from the Egyptian, which comes on the back of the off-season boost of a new three-year contract at Anfield.

Yep it's a continuous salbutamol patch, it supplies the equivalent of 2 blasts of an inhaler every 10 minutes. Salah must have particularly bad asthma.

Some remarkable misses yesterday. When he missed from Elliot’s cross I think it was actually harder to miss than score. Good to get those out of the system on a day we scored 9 anyway.

Went with his left foot for some reason, made it so much more difficult for himself.

Great player, terribly one-footed.

he had that great shot that the goalie tipped over in the first half - right foot.

I think we're seeing him use his right more this season.  Klopp even joked about it a couple of weeks ago "he found his right foot on vacation" or something like that.
