Must be one of the lucky ones :D, all over Reddit and Steam (sitting on Mostly Negative rating atm) there are reviews panning the PC performance.

Im sure there are some problems but I think a lot of the time people are expecting to play it in virtually 4k at 60fps. Maybe i'm just happy running lower and just playing lol

It's still preparing to start for me, but the reviews on Steam don't sound good. Will give it a try once it's finished. Either way, I'm not too arsed whether it's a good port or not as I got it for free with my graphics card... ;)

Is there any content available with the season pass just now?

The guy in Game told me it comes with the Red Hood + Harley Quinn DLC packs that are pre-order bonuses (but they aren't available with pass until mid July), and I think it comes with a few skins.

Have played a bit and haven't had a problem on PC so far. 30 fps-limit is a bit annoying though. Not really that into the Batman-games and this is just more of the same... ;)

How long did it take people to download the update file on the ps4? Mines been at it since 5 and is only just over halfway complete.

Quick question, I haven't played any of these, would it be better to start from the very beginning and go through game progression, or doesn't it make a difference?

If you haven't played any Arkham games I'd highly recommend playing Asylum and City first a) because you'll understand the overall story better but also b) they're awesome and you're on for a treat

Origins isn't as bad as some make out and has some great moments but it's far from essential

Just played a few hours this evening and these are my initial observations

1) I knew beforehand the Batmobile would feature prominently but my word you need it every 30 seconds!! As cool as it is part of me is hoping it gets destroyed half way through!
2) With that you lose a bit of the classic Arkham feel (I haven't had a single predetor room yet)
3) Combat is phenomenal and a great improvement on an already great system
4) graphically awesome, best looking game I've played
5) Story has started very quickly and a throws you straight in which is great

I'm only 7% in so there's plenty to happen yet and I'm looking forward to finding out what

If you're on PC, Greenmangaming have Asylum at £2.49 and City at £3.74

It's incredible how a game this size can be so badly developed on PC. If it's not up to scratch, delay the release. Don't hire an inferior company to rush it out the door.

So my initial impressions:

Graphically not bad, not great by any stretch.
Fluid combat very much the same as what came before
At the moment there's a disconnect between batman and the city of Gotham, it's hard to explain but you don't get that stealthy edge of asylum
When gliding you see the grappling hook object but can't actually see where your grappling to. Poor camera positioning maybe ?

Only early days yet but it's alright

Actually enjoying the Batmobile so far. Yes, the game is a bit too reliant on it for environmental puzzles and the tank battles aren't particularly amazing (they don't last long though). Best thing about it is being able to eject and then soar into the sky. Being able to call on it wherever you are is very cool also.

The Batmobile took some getting used to but I really enjoy it now! Hardly put it down since I got it

With this and Witcher 3 already (plus games like Pillar of Eternity, Bloodborne) it's actually shaping up to be a great year for gaming

This is great. Nothing beats running off a roof, divebombing down 20 stories and landing in the street then summoning your Batmobile which comes razzing around the corner.

Im hoping the have a Micheal Keaton Batman skin!

Are you referring to the fighting system as a whole or how overpowered you appear to be?

If you've played the Arkham Games before then the fighting is a refined version of that system, so can't really complain. However I do think Batman so far (I'm 11% in) is too powerful on Normal difficulty. I imagine this will change further into the game but I don't think I've been hit yet!

I'm on hard difficulty :) and just seems any fight with a group of bad guys

I played through Asylum, City and Origins and I remember having to at least turn towards an enemy to have to punch them, this I don't even have to do that! Just jump in and spam fire...seems stupid

Yeah I sort of know what you mean and I can't speak for you because I don't know how far you are but I'm only 11% through so I'm hoping a lot more will open up as I progress,

That mission selection wheel appears to have about 14 points to it and I've only unlocked 5 I about 3 hours so I think this game is massive and a few of us have barely scratched the surface. I think after this weekend when I commit some proper time to it, I'll have a better understanding,

I 100% agree regarding the Batmobile, I'm astonished how prominent it is. I think when the City completely opens up we might be grateful to get from A to B quicker but the fact it is essential is most missions is slightly annoying
