Spence is the bigger man mate. A more natural Welter, Crawford is coming up through the weight's and eventually it catches everyone up.
Crawford is a far better boxer and there isn't the same size disparity as there was with Mikey Garcia. If that fight happens, I think a lot of people will be shocked by how comfortably Bud deals with him.

I don't think he's far better than Spence but I agree that he is better and wins on points all day. Both are elite though, and need to get it on asap.

Agree with this, think it will be very similar to Mayweather vs Canelo. Canelo is a highly skilled boxer and was the much bigger fighter but the more skillful fighter took it with ease.

I can't see anything other than Crawford making Spence look average. Not that Spence is, far from it, neither was Canelo, but highly elite fighters have a way of making other elite fighters look average.

It's all moot anyway. Crawford v Spence is unlikely, certainly not happening until Spence is up and running again properly after his car crash.  ;D

I see Wilder and Fury have started the hype with their press conference. Wilder saying " I'm gonna knock you out of the ring and then you really will have a WWE experience but in real life".  ;D

AJ's and Usyk's reps have held discussions today. I would rather see this than Aj vs Pulev to be honest. But either way he's facing a mandatory defense next.

Not sure that makes sense for AJ now.  Partly because there's a good chance he'll lose, but also because there's not much to win.  If I were him I'd want Usyk to beat a couple more heavyweights and pick up that WBO belt so that the win looks more legit.

Agree that I'd rather watch it than AJ v Pulev though.

Funny to hear pillow-fisted Fury talking about knocking out Wilder. More chance of Mayweather fighting in UFC.

Opposite of you mate better to beat a novice Heavyweight version of Usyk than one that's fully in tune with the Heavies.  Beat Usyk now then you don't have to face him anymore unless Usyk really cleans up the division i.e he goes on to beat Wilder, Fury etc. :D

Easier to beat him now, yeah.  But he won't get any credit for beating him until he's done something in the division.

Not that we should be bothered by that kind of thing as boxing fans.  I definitely want to see the fight!

He doesn't get credit as it is.  ;D Take the W wit this lesser Usyk version and move on. At this point on Wilder and Fury give AJ the credit from boxing fans and pundits.

New rumour today lads:

AJ fights Pulev (IBF mandatory) next and Usyk in October (WBO mandatory).

I can see that happening and that meeting was basically to thrash out this compromise.

Fine with me, assuming Fury and Wilder keep each other busy this year. I thought he'd have to drop one belt though and win it back off Usyk?

Perhaps Eddie came to some compromise with the WBO like guaranteeing the Usyk fight will be next.  Or like you said AJ drops WBO and Usyk fights Chisora on the undercard and then AJ v Usyk in October.

Yeah I wouldn't mind that. Whatever happens Usyk is not going to sit on his hands till October. Think Parker was being talked about before, would be good to see Usyk against someone that size.

I see we've got dickhead Fury back.

Quote
“Usyk isn’t on the list. He’s a no name. No one is interested. He doesn’t make any money,” said Fury to IFL TV when asked if he’d like to fight him. “Why would I want to fight him for? He’s a small cruiserweight, a foreigner who doesn’t speak good English, and no one is really interested anyway. I want the big fights that people are interested in, and that ain’t one of them,” said Fury.

That's probably the best fight out there at Lightweight. Would be a cracker.

Saudis need to fuck off, all the big fights are going to be held there at this rate.

Fury is a tool, those two fights against the German plumber and the Swedish meatball salesman were HUGE fights weren’t they? The guy is known to be a hypocrite. Hope Wilder takes his head off.

Fucks sake.  Wouldn't mind too much if it was Wilder, but if it was Fury vs Joshua and that wasn't in the UK it would be a real shame.

Just like I said. All the big fights are going to be in Saudi soon.

I see Andy Ruiz has split from trainer Manny Robles, who pretty much confirmed that Andy was eating whatever he wanted and never focused in camp.

All these fights going to Saudi is obviously unpleasant, but I can never really begrudge fighters making as much money as they can.  It's a tough old game and for all of them their next fight could be their last.

I'm not entirely sure about that. Joyce can 'ugly' up this fight, get inside and rough Dubois up. You have to remember that Dubois is inexperienced and hasn't fought much in the way of competition. My first thought is that he will win a harder than expected points decision.

Should be a good fight, I'll definitely tune in for that.
