Better. Beautiful goal by TAA! We look better balanced today and we have had three shots from Nunez from good positions. That will pay off if we can keep supplying him. We need a second to be safe and we should get it if we keep playing like this.

Think these four upfront work because they all run hard. All of them. It pins their backs down and prevents them from countering.

Great to see Trent smiling, some really good performances out there.

Thiago and Henderson have been good. Not sure why there is a different rule for fouls on Salah to everyone else. Both arms around him holding him seems to be ok.

Their yellow was a definite red. No attempt to play the pay, breaking up a promising attack and a nasty raking tackle.

One goal up for all of our possession isn’t good though and at this level you have to take your chances.

I’d like to see Diaz doing more and maybe push Thiago further forward to unlock their defence.

Great goal by TAA.

Jota and Diaz aren’t really working but they are both capable of taking a half chance.
the tackle was pretty much what the Spurs lad got sent off for on Saturday. I didn't think that was a red but if it was then this one was too
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

well we are playing a different formation so there is more protection, I'm sure Fab would look equally as solid sitting in a two

More has changed than just Fabinho dropping out though, Henderson/Thiago are playing a bit deeper and Trent is maybe a little deeper and wider too. Put Fabinho in this game and I think he plays quite well too.

Much the better team, although that's not difficult as they look awful.

Good movement from Nunez but lacking the composure we saw from him at Anfield last year. Trent actually playing as a rightback rather than that weird hybrid of about four different positions.

I do worry if we don’t get a second soon as you’d think Rangers will have a spell.

The performance has been fair better though, you’d hope Nunez will take one of his chances shortly.

Does my head in when players tread on ankles for a professional foul when they're well in range for a standard trip

Wouldn't mind at all if they were red cards.

Absolutely, how can they give Kent a free kick and not the Salah foul? Just stupid.

Hendo has never got the credit for his passing ability. He had been superb and it has been great to see VVD playing aggressive. Jota and nunez's movement great as well

Some of Nunez runs have been quality, they need to pick him out a bit more - then he needs to relax a bit and place the shot .

Been saying for ages Henderson should be playing 6 these days. He's genuinely good there. And when you put him alongside Thiago you mitigate against some of his weaknesses as well.

Watching on RTE 2, Jesus Houghton going on about Nunez not scoring. Ffs he's doing what he's supposed to do. And moaning Brady saying Mo not playing well. What match is he watching? Mo been great tonight. Tracking back, linking up with Nunez. Taking shots. Thank christ for that odd thing RTE Player uses as an ad break. Weird noise but better than listening to Brady.

Have to agree on Henderson. Played some great balls. When he has a bit of time he can pick a pass. I know Rangers are not offering much but we look so much better.

Clean sheet and some more goals would be a great confidence booster.

Nunez has made some great short runs into space in the box and if he keeps doing so then he’ll score a couple.

Playing a lot better so far, granted it’s against Rangers. Lovely goal from Trent.

Gotta be putting away one of these other chances.

Call me pessimistic but I'm fully expecting them to score on their one and only chance.  Be nice if we had 2 or 3 in the bag by the time that happens.

We could definitely do with a couple more goals this 2nd half.
