Ordinarily yes. Kiev being a great example.

However, the lower tier at West Ham is a temporary stand that has been built much further forward. It probably doesn't come across on TV, but there is a massive platform between the back of the (temporary) lower, and the front of the upper. It's probably about 20 yards.

Yeah, seen the gap from the upper. Lower still miles from the pitch though. Everyone slags off the view at the London stadium but I’ve been in upper and had a great view every time we’ve played there. (Don’t get me wrong it’s still a shit bowl and no Upton Park).

Lower is miles better than upper at the London Stadium imo. Need binoculars from the top!
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Still on sale? Reckon it's worth heading down the ground and hunting for a spare?

There was 20 tickets left for this match at 8.00 this morning having being available to all those on 8 credits since 3.00 pm yesterday so there really should be s further sale but they will probably do what they did with Wolves and just put it up as sold out on Monday morning.

Yeah that would help. Hard to know who to ask these days and people obviously have spares.

Checked again early this morning and the same amount of tickets 20 are still available for West Ham because everyone on 8 plus credits has bought and no one else can buy because they haven’t reduced the credits required by having a further sale I will be severely pissed off if they don’t have a 7 and 6 sale tomorrow regardless of the game being on Wednesday.

Really don't think they will have a further sale now, because of lack of time to post them out (their excuse previous times). The tickets will just 'disappear'

They need to reduce the starting thresholds for the remaining games

I agree that they probably won’t have a further sale but there is no doubt about it that they are doing us out of the tickets. They could easily sell  them tomorrow and dupes can be collected at West Ham I booked flights to London for Wednesday in the hope of this dropping to 7 I will be calling them at 8.15 in the morning and asking to speak to someone with clout in the TO to make my case for them selling me a ticket.

It's not the starting thresholds that are the problem,  it's how quickly they reduce the credits required.  And that clearly needs to be faster so tickets are all sold in time. Or making them collection only at the last minute would be better than nothing.

There were 3 sales yesterday weren't there?

It doesn't help doing it on a Friday as then there are basically two days that are lost over the weekend.

Hi Carl just the usual bollocks about keep checking the website I told her the same 20 tickets have been sitting there since Friday and no one can buy because the criteria hadn’t dropped I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told that they would tell me the same thing so it’s a lost cause basically 20 West Ham away tickets will now not be sold.

'sold out' now

Game off site and no further sales.

20 people with 8 must have suddenly decided they want to go. All at the same time.

I received an email back from them stating that all tickets were now sold and it further stated that they would never leave tickets unsold and had the tickets not sold then undoubtedly they would have dropped the criteria down.So basically what they are saying Is that the 20 tickets that were unsold from Friday afternoon until they closed the site this morning at 7.30 for the local sale at 8.15 all sold when the site went live again at 8.15 🤥

Anyone know if there’s any pie mash and liquor stores by the stadium? Or in Epping (we’re parking there and getting the tube in)?

A couple of us have never tried it and want to give it a go.

Google shows nothing at Stratford and the only ones we can find in Epping shut at 5.

Pie and Mash is traditionally a daytime meal..yes that's lunch down south..we don't do dinner and tea 😉

There's 3 in Bethnal Green Road...owned by two different Kelly Families...google Kelly...but I'm pretty sure they typically shut late afternoon

Cooke's in Hoxton may work...I think that opens a bit later most days..that's an gentle 10-15 minute walk from Liverpool Street..and that's 3 stops on the central line from Stratford

Nothing in Stratford now..I believe...the old one in the high Street shut down

If your having it...apply white pepper and vinegar...that's how the locals eat it

Enjoy...

These are authentic pie and Mash shops...
according to 24/7 I will be scrambling round for tickets on the exchange all season #STH #19awayclub

I wonder if Fan Update has had an impact and they’re trying to “control” the numbers on each credit by not dropping the criteria for those 20 as a result? Can’t see any logical explanation for it but I guess the ticket office might just use the scraps themselves.

Anyone could have picked a home ticket. They were on general sale. I got one a couple of weeks ago, but managed to pick up away end one at last minute via my branch. Got shot of my home end one on way to game to chap on Tomkins Times. He seemed happy enough, but not heard from him since!  I didnt see any spares knocking about for our end though.

It would be people standing with mates, it happens at every away. Just in our bit in the Lower, there were 14 of us in 8 seats.
