Brainfart from Minamino aside, that was a very impressive first half display. A ton a rotation yet still comfortably the better side against a team that, to McManaman's incessant exasperation, haven't really offered much despite needing a win.

Hope we never take Mo Salah for granted, his numbers are ridiculous.

The pitch looks insanely firm. Players on both sides at times having to take that extra time to control the ball.

Seems really odd they could have 4 teams in the knockouts.

Then again so could La Liga and that's even worse (although maybe only 1).

Pretty comfortable half although we gave away a very soft goal. Minamino should not be caught out like that.

Konate, Morton, Ox and Origi playing well.

Some strike from Mo……..not many players could have controlled the shot.

Defending for their goal aside a decent and enjoyable half.

Ox did excellent for Mo’s goal and has looked really good on the ball. Konate solid at the back and again Morton slowly came into it and doesn’t look out of place.

Kids done well too. Think Ox was gash for the first 20, had an opportunity to play in Salah and fucked it, that seemed to put a rocket up his ass as he was brilliant after that.

I swear down Tsimikas on the other side isn't even thinking about football, he's just enjoying physically destroying the right winger, right centre mid and the right back in every single battle or 50/50. He's literally winning every throw in, free kick and contest.

I'm really impressed. Playing some good football and looking very relaxed.

The Ox runs from midfield are nice to see. Both full backs happy to get on the ball. Morton again looking right at home.

Their goal was just a spawny piece of luck and other than that they've created next to nothing. I expect they'll ramp it up as desperation to quality kicks in but wouldn't be surprised to see us win it.

Ox the standout for me. Great driving forward.
Kudos to Origi, Morton and Konate though.. we are lacking some fluidity but that's to be expected with all the changes. Expected more for Milan to be honest. They've been mediocre

Almost a carbon copy of the goal Atletico scored in the first leg. Total fluke. I have heard Milan has a lot of injuries. Does anyone know who would be starting if they were fit?

Salah, Phenomenon

Konate has been excellent and Ox is providing great drive from the centre.

If you showed a neutral this and said one side needs a win to go through and one side has already done the job they would guess the sides wrong. They look so pedestrian!! How are they top of Serie A

Ox has been excellent. Powering through midfield, changing direction on a sixpence, shooting with accuracy, albeit Milan have done well to block a couple of them. He's showing all those thngs you want from a marauding midfielder.

We have played pretty well. The 1-1 scoreline is generous to them.

He's a confidence player Ox. When he gets his eye in he bosses it with his direct running but he can play within himself a lot.
