AC Milan away ticket details
« on: November 24, 2021, 10:52:17 pm »
Liverpool FC has released the following important information, including ticket details, for the UEFA Champions League away fixture with AC Milan.

The game will be played on Tuesday December 7, kicking off at 9pm local time. The San Siro stadium is currently operating at 75 per cent capacity.

As it stands, we have received an allocation of 3,269 tickets, excluding 243 top category seats that are allocated as part of the players, staff, and VIP allocation.

Given the COVID-19 status across Europe, we have been made aware that the current situation is subject to change at any stage; this could be in the form of travel restrictions or further reductions of stadium capacities.

Ticket details are outlined below, but we strongly urge supporters to purchase a ticket only if they absolutely intend to travel to Milan and attend the game.

At the time of publication, we cannot confirm if further restrictions from the Italian government will be imposed at any point in the lead up to the game.

Supporters purchasing tickets will be doing so at their own risk.

The club cannot accept any responsibility for losses incurred due to the purchase of travel, and accommodation if further sanctions are imposed. There is a possibility that tickets may be withdrawn and voided prior to the fixture and, if so, supporters will be refunded for the price of the ticket only.

Supporters intending to travel should also check the latest travel requirements here, ahead of leaving for Italy and returning to the UK, to ensure you meet the current health and vaccination requirements.

There may also be additional costs incurred for COVID tests, pre-travel and when you return home.

Those supporters not purchasing a ticket do not need to worry about the game credit for this fixture. This game will not be counted towards any future sales eligibility criteria within this years, or future European away game sales.

The selling details as of today are as follows…

Ticket prices: £41.80.

First sale: Tickets will be available online to season ticket holders and official members who purchased one of the following UEFA Champions League away fixtures recorded during the 2019-20 season: Atletico Madrid, FC Salzburg, KRC Genk or SSC Napoli.

Time of sale: From 8.15am on Friday November 26.

First sale status: Guaranteed - one ticket per qualifying supporter, up to a maximum of 10 tickets per booking.

Ticket sales notes: Tickets are available online and you may have to queue at times.

Due to Italian law, the full name of each supporter attending the game must be written on their ticket.

Photo ID will be requested at the stadium and/or turnstiles and checked against the name on the ticket.

You will be refused entry if…

The name on the ticket does not match the photo ID.
An attempt has been made to remove or change the name on the ticket.
To make sure you do not experience any issues in receiving your ticket(s) or whilst in Milan, the correct details must be submitted for each individual supporter attending the game.

If the supporter eligible to buy the ticket is not attending the game, the details for the supporter you are giving your ticket to must be provided instead - changes cannot be made once you have completed your purchase.

Please make sure that the details are correct on the form as you will not be able to use the ‘Distribute’ option within My Account, once you have purchased your ticket.

Tickets will only be issued if the details of all supporters are provided. Please check you have updated the online form prior to checking out.

Disabled: We have received five wheelchair bays with associated personal assistants.

Qualifying wheelchair supporters should contact us to register their interest no later than 1pm on Friday November 26 by emailing disability@liverpoolfc.com and marking the subject field as AC Milan Away.

Please note that if the number of applications exceeds the number of wheelchair bays available, a ballot will take place with priority given to those who have recorded the most number of European away games from season 2019-20.

Hospitality members: Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand executive box holders, premium level and centenary club members should contact the hospitality team on 0151 264 2222, option 2.

Potential further sales: We will provide an update here once we have more guidance from AC Milan and/or the Italian Government.

If further sales take place, they will be made available to Season Ticket Holders on the morning of Wednesday December 1. If tickets remain, they will then be made available to Members on the afternoon of Wednesday December 1.

We can confirm at this point that any tickets purchased from Wednesday December 1 will need to be collected from a location in Milan.

Full selling details will be released here on Tuesday November 30.

Ticket credits: As previously stated, tickets purchased this season will not be used as credits in future seasons. This policy is still in place and will not be changed this season.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic impact, we will not be using this game as a credit during the current season either. We do not want supporters to feel obliged to travel when they do not feel comfortable doing so.

This policy will be reviewed on a game-by-game basis during the competition this season, with details provided ahead of each game.

Please only buy a ticket if you are planning to attend the game.

Overseas support: We would also like to remind supporters that important safety information for supporters travelling to Milan will be provided in the lead up to the game.  The information provided is in conjunction with Italian authorities and LFC club officials, and we strongly advise that you follow all the information and instructions given.

For further away support information, click here.

COVID-19 latest in Italy

As at the date of this notice, the allocation of visitor tickets to LFC is at the sole discretion of the host club in Italy. As a result, the allocation of visitor tickets could be subject to change depending on several factors, including the position of the host club on travelling supporters and/or the latest public health guidance issued by the government of the city of Milan and/or Italy. Given this, LFC recommends that supporters travelling to Milan keep up to date with the very latest health guidance for the city of Milan and/or Italy.

Please note that Liverpool FC will not be responsible for any supporter being refused entry either into the stadium, the city of Milan or the country of Italy.

We advise that supporters refer to and meet the entry requirements on the Italian Government website for the latest updates and read the conditions for stadium entry here.

I think it's more a case of them wanting to make 100% sure they don't have any liability or fallout if it gets called off, either financial or from people saying "you sold us tickets when you knew it might get called off".

I'm fairly confident now, especially given how large the allocation is

Yeah good point tbf, I hope that's the case

it should let you check all the details at the bottom, you should have a list of tickets with all the traveller info next to each one. check the info, if correct click ok.  or click on the ticket to change the info.

Has to be a mistake, only 4 blocks went up initially.

They did similar for the Madrid sale.  Seems they want to force folks into filling up a few blocks before they put up more.  It's irritating though if you get on early and can only buy poorly situated seats, or you're seated apart, then look again an hour later and find they have put up better blocks.  Seems to no longer favour those who get on the sale early.

Same here, I don’t think my second lot of traveller details went in and couldn’t go back. I thought if I go through payment there would have been an info missing message but it didn’t, the sale just completed.🙄

Yes you can, once you have filled in the last set of details, click previous and it will show you all the other details for that person, and you can keep going back by clicking previous...then keep clicking next to go to the end. Apart from that, all the details are constantly shown on the right hand side albeit bunched up together.

This seems like important info to have before buying tickets, but can only seem to see it in the ticket confirmation, not the selling details:

Photo ID will be requested at the stadium and/or turnstiles and checked against the name on the ticket.
With effect from 6th December, access to the San Siro stadium will only be permitted by showing the NHS COVID Travel pass proving double vaccination.
This check will form part of the entry process and therefore we advise all supporters to arrive at the stadium early.

I would say so for STH. Don't think they've even released all the blocks yet and there's still two up one of which has plenty of seats still there
