The red star is just for the lead person. The club needed to out a monetary value to the ballot for the system but gave an offer so the ballot was free. That's what the star indicates

I had a feeling that was the case

Apparently someone called and the ballot was done yesterday, so surely they could easily have announced by now.

They need to get on with it!!

I keep seeing emails drop in and shitting myself, only to discover more spam...

Woman next to me keeps sending emails and copying me in.  Don't usually stand for violence against Women, but she's 5 minutes away from getting knocked out.

You'll be allocated a number in the ballot which is effectively your position in the "queue" if tickets become available.

The Basel ballot was a 1 in 7 chance of being successful and I think the results came out around 1pm. I'm surprised the club have given a lot less details this time.

For Basle I got an email saying that I was unsuccessful in the ballot but that I was on the waiting list and they gave me a number. Then I got an email saying they had sold out so no tickets available, then a further email saying that they had got a further allocation and could therefore offer me a guaranteed ticket and gave me details of how and when to apply for it.

I'm the lead and my cousin has the dot. It only appears in the lead booker's account from what I understand. If it does mean something, it defeats the entire purpose of a ballot - the stars were there on the first day the ballot opened (and I called to ask the club).

I would say if you are numbered up to 500 on the waiting list your odds are good if you are in the first 100 odd virtually certain.

Email from LFC

"apologies for the delay in sending the ballot results; Lexie, whose in charge of pressing the send button, has went out for her dinner and is meeting a lad at The Slug & Lettuce who she got off with in town on Saturday, anyway shes got there and forgot her lipliner so she's DM'd her mate Paige from the 'email writing' dept and asked her to bring it round sharpish cause shes sat in the kazi and wont let this lad see her

Both girls should be back at their desks very soon and can then press the send button to the email which has been written since 10.05 this morning"
