I wish him every success. Hopefully he'll become as good a manager as he was a player.

Gets said far too often these days, but he is a legend of the game.

Controversially, if it came down to a choice between selling Suarez and selling Carroll, I’d sell Suarez.

Good luck, Sami! I truly believe he has all the attributes to be a fantastic manager, just hope he didn´t get into a too windy place too early..

Hope he gains alot of experience from that! Hopefully come back to our club in the future!

A true legend of the club! Shame it had to be him to go and not Carragher (harsh but my honest opinion).

This is great news for us. One of our most loyal ex-Reds landing a big managerial job provides us with more options for the future.

Good luck Sami!!

Sami's yet to lose so far at Leverkusen (P4, W2, D2, L0). A draw against Hannover would guarantee Europa League football as well for them next season. Come On Sami!

Schurrle hints at Blues interest: Forward linked with £15m move; Leverkusen consider Hyypia
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7738357/Schurrle-hints-at-Blues-interest

Would be very unhappy if Chelsea get him :(. Liked him, seemed like the next Torres to me (in the few matches and clips I saw).

On Hyypia, wanted to see him as part of the staff here; the new bootroom. Though if Leverkusen make him permanent manager I guess that dream is over.
Would love the 19th more and more trophies; but would love even more to see a fan owned LFC.

Well then you havent seen him often this season. Until the last five matches he played crap, similar to Downing. There were times in which he couldnt even control the ball properly let alone run past the opponents.
Nevertheless he got better in the last five games anscored a few goals. But still a shadow of his former self if you take last season into comparison.  But as always I bet he will flourish for the nationalteam sadly.

Good Luck Sami.

Great news. Happy for Sami.

Hope he does well with them and Leverkusen finish in Top-4.
A Liverbird upon my chest, we are the men of Shankly's best. A team that plays the Liverpool way, and wins the championship in May.
