Players Championship in Holland yesterday, another victory for Taylor, that's now 115 wins out of 120 matches and 15-20 tournament wins so far this season for the Power, in his quarter final against Chris Mason he didn't lose a leg, had a 100% checkout rate and an average of 120+
Also John MaGowan hit a 9 darter, an achievement on its own, but MaGowan is 67 Years of age, quite brilliant

In the Hamilton - Taylor match, it's simply a case of damage limitation for Andy. Looked absolutely average in his second round match and we've all seen how well Taylor is playing. Would be very surprised if it's anything other than 3-0.

Ill bet you any sum of money in the world it doesnt finish 3-0 :D

Oh there is a darts thread, usually we all just get together in the betting thread ;D

Good craic even if some of the darts was pretty one-sided!

Taylor and Barney I agree with lfsea, both should win handily, Jenkins plays like last night he will beat Part who was pretty average.

Met Priestly last night he seemed pretty relaxed the day off probably did him well and wouldnt be surprised if he came out well, if he doesn't get too tired I can see him beating King.

starts around 7, not sure where can watch it.

If it goes to form, it wil be handy enough for taylor, even yesterday there was a massive difference in averages, jenkins was about even with barney even though one won 5-0 the other lost 5-0!

I have a feeling we might just get one of the great matches tonight... was trying to see if I could put a bet on for more than one 9-darter tonight :D

I wouldnt reccomend that at all, you will have to rely on Taylor getting both, Barneys starting double in 32, meaning the max he can score is 152 in, leaving 349, giving him no chance of a 9 darter

I wouldn't really do it, and it would only have been a 50p-for-a-bit-of-interest bet. My strike-rate on the darts has been very good this week and I wouldn't throw it all away for something mad like that :) I was more saying it because I think the standard is going to be sky high tonight.

I am punting on Barney on a +3.5 handicap tonight at just under evens. Like that bet a lot. Just the one single should be a nice return.

Any other tournement than the Grand Prix and I would be betting huge on Taylor, the double in will be making a huge difference, saying that Taylors average is roughly 10 points higher than Barneys!

What ever happens its gonna be a brilliant match, first final theyve met in since the Worlds in Jan 07

lfsea, a 9-darter is 20s on betfair if you really want it.

Taylor has been too good, think will get him -2.5 at 4/6 myself.

Does anybody have a link to a live stream for this other than bet365, by any chance?  According to bet365 - "this event is not available in your region".

Would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

Taylor wins with relative ease - 6-2.

Superb darts, by both players - have to hand it to Taylor though, he is phenomenal.

Incredibly unfortunate if you were on Barney +3.5 legs and didn't take the opportunity to cover yourself.

Taylor wins with relative ease - 6-2.

You sure?

You could argue that Barney gifted him the last two sets. You wouldn't have expected Barney from 170 with 6 Darts wouldn't have had a shot at the double and then missing 2 darts at double 8 to prolong it by another set.

Taylor gifted Barney first set really, he would have kicked on from there

Swings and roundabouts for me as you can say that Barney should have won the second set but to say that Taylor won with relative ease was a little harsh on Barney's performance.

Nice little match up though.

Also, I think it means that Anastasia gets that little bit closer to a wildcard entry for the Grand Slam.

I've had a search and I can't find it.

I'm about 95% certain that it happened in his 1/4 final with Manley in the Worlds a couple of years ago though I'm sure Cleary will set me straight if not.
