Players Championship in Holland yesterday, another victory for Taylor, that's now 115 wins out of 120 matches and 15-20 tournament wins so far this season for the Power, in his quarter final against Chris Mason he didn't lose a leg, had a 100% checkout rate and an average of 120+
Also John MaGowan hit a 9 darter, an achievement on its own, but MaGowan is 67 Years of age, quite brilliant

the world grand prix is hotting up at the moment. have been some great games and some epic comebacks.

taylor looks odds on to do a nine darter to me.

quarter finals.

hamilton vs taylor

Oh there is a darts thread, usually we all just get together in the betting thread

Good craic even if some of the darts was pretty one-sided!

Taylor and Barney I agree with lfsea, both should win handily, Jenkins plays like last night he will beat Part who was pretty average.

Met Priestly last night he seemed pretty relaxed the day off probably did him well and wouldnt be surprised if he came out well, if he doesn't get too tired I can see him beating King.

but was surrounded by about 50 liverpool fans at the airport, well.... surrounded in a none surrounding way

starts around 7, not sure where can watch it.

If it goes to form, it wil be handy enough for taylor, even yesterday there was a massive difference in averages, jenkins was about even with barney even though one won 5-0 the other lost 5-0!

I wouldnt reccomend that at all, you will have to rely on Taylor getting both, Barneys starting double in 32, meaning the max he can score is 152 in, leaving 349, giving him no chance of a 9 darter

Taylor has been too good, think will get him -2.5 at 4/6 myself.

You could argue that Barney gifted him the last two sets. You wouldn't have expected Barney from 170 with 6 Darts wouldn't have had a shot at the double and then missing 2 darts at double 8 to prolong it by another set.

Swings and roundabouts for me as you can say that Barney should have won the second set but to say that Taylor won with relative ease was a little harsh on Barney's performance.

Nice little match up though.

Also, I think it means that Anastasia gets that little bit closer to a wildcard entry for the Grand Slam.

I see the European Darts Championship is on ITV4 until sunday. Were some decent matches last night. Taylor looks pretty awesome though. He averaged 106 in second gear.

anyone watching the grand slam? they've got the first ever nine dart shootout on tv tonight as tabern and hamilton finished their group with exactly the same points and leg difference.
