Know your audience mate.

The TAW thread does do a good job of attracting people with an elevated sense of self-importance.

For god’s sake it’s obviously a joke.  Do I actually need to explain it?

It was.  It just amused me to see a Guy On A Messageboard accusing another Guy On A Messageboard of having no life because he’s a Guy On A Messageboard.  When the only people who’ll ever read it are other Guys On A Messageboard.

And I say all that as a Guy On A Messageboard myself, I’m definitely not taking myself seriously here.

Now let’s put it all behind us shall we.

And what followed after this point was one of the worst runs in the club's history. Disastrous season following a terrible summer of transfers. In my opinion, not relevant to this season other than the fact that the name of the club at the top of the league are called Liverpool.

Of course it's not relevant. We were awful thus me saying the league should have ended at that fixture with an executive decision  ;D
Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.

Why was Neil going on about bringing Keita on on the free Video - I'm sure someone, it may have been Neil was talking about this on the post match show too? Am I missing something?

Really nice couple of stories about AFQ in there that I hadn't ever thought about.

You have to type your e mail in to the site  halfway through, but it is well worth it.

Been following TAW since the very first show and haven't lived in the UK for 3 1/2 years. Neil's right about the sense of community.

So good to have Neil back on the Friday Show.  No offence to anyone covering for him over the last couple of shows but he brings so much more enthusiasm and interest to the show.

A shame some of the Emery chat quickly became redundant!

I do find myself impressed by how anyone can drum up the enthusiasm to talk about all the irrelevant slop in the league. I know if it were me I'd be saying "right, Burnley v Crystal Palace, who gives a fuck? No one? Good, what's next?" "Here's a bloke talking about Watford if anyone's interested, but skip forward ten minutes if you can't be arsed"

It won't.
I'm presuming Pink is a bit of a rush-job most times, so stuff gets posted uncompressed and unrefined.
Which I'm fine with, I'd rather it's out sooner than be optimised - will delete it from my phone as soon as it's listened to.

Sorting the pink thing now, apologies, and thanks for your patience, should be good in 10 minutes

Good show as usual but Maybe the first time I've ever disagreed so much with a pink. Thought we played well first half and as mentioned by one of them if Alison hadn't lost his head it would have been a routine 2 nil in 2nd gear. None of Our lads who've taken 137 points from the last 156 need to be told to battle and fight for points, make no mistake they're doing it better than possibly any team in red any of us have ever seen, or maybe will ever see.
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

I agree.

But then again, they were just out of the stadium having lived on their nerves throughout the second half.  That’s the link, it’s a reaction show

Bit miffed by the Salah chat on the Pink, the inclination was he's been off it and hasn't scored for ages.

Netted against City in the last league game he played, had a great game too. What have I missed ;D

As I left the ground on Saturday I had very similar feelings to those expressed on the Pink. I felt as if we hadn't been in control of the football match and it was self-inflicted. There was a period on the first half leading up to half time where I thought we were incredibly sloppy and gave up a lot of territory.

However, on reflection I think the Pink may have been a tad harsh as I had been. We still created much better chances and I think it boils down to Liverpool players backing themselves to get through attritional and patchy games of football where 'control' isn't viewed in the same way a nervous fan may feel.

I've been listening to TAW since the very first episode, although I never got into the new(er) paid content simply because I can never find the time. I've now started receiving daily updates via email, which sadly I also never have time to read. They're just clogging up my inbox. I tried to unsubscribe but I don't seem to able to unsubscribe from just the daily updates. It's either the whole thing or nothing. I still want to get some updates and the "Off to the Match" emails, how do I do that?
