If they used cup games I would suspect it would be to reduce the amount of people who can buy at any one time. As we know the IT system doesn’t cope well with demand.

They've not even got this listed on the ticket availability page with a message saying coming soon or anything... yet they've got Sheffield United in January that is not even on sale next week

Hospitality for Sheff Utd is on sale though isn't it.

They don't usually put the game on the ticket availability page until the details are announced tbf, but they just need to get on with announcing them ffs!

For the friendlies they had them listed with coming soon for a good while before anything (including the sneaking of buy Tranmere at Tranmere)

Sure for previous seasons they've had all games listed with no information

I don't want to be a dick, but they haven't.

They list home games because they sell hospitality, but all other away games they only appear on the page when there is ticket info announced. Friendlies are obviously different.

I spent half my life looking at that page last season :D

Oh I dunno, I reckon Milner at least would be well up for a bit of that, could be quite entertaining. ;D

Assume City haven't announced their details yet, so we're all in the same boat?

Anyone have the link to the Echo article being mentioned on the weekend?

I reckon Liverpool and City are still trying to hustle a few more tickets out of the FA before they release the details. If that's the case they wouldn't release the credit requirements because the more tickets available the less credits required

City will be doing the opposite. Giving tickets back because they can't sell them

Last 2 charity shields with City barley broke the 70k attendance, most years it gets around 85k. I suspect they’ll sell more cause it’s us now though

They definitely won't sell 30k tickets, no chance. There'll be more than enough to go round for us.

Even if they announce it by the end of the week, the 1st won’t be until Monday 22nd July at the earliest as they I can’t see them trying to sell 30K charity shield tickets during bulk sale week.

I don't even know if I even qualify yet, and that's the bit that bothers me.

I've booked the Monday off work in anticipation, but do I even need it? I don't know do I.

They just need to tell us, ffs.

City won the FA Cup on 18th May. They have had 7 weeks to work out what criteria they are going to use. They just take the absolute piss.

Yep, at least the one thing I was worried about (the sale being Thursday, a day I can't do) isn't happening now. Well I presume not.

I’ve dealt with them since the PTS days so I know what they are like, expected the unexpected! I just can’t see them doing that though although as you said, anything is possible.

Yep.

Its a trip to London for us all, these things need planning and budgeting for.

Just fucking tell us if we qualify or not, dont even have to give us sale dates yet, thats not the issue!

They could do with announcing something on this now. Next week is general sales week, so I wonder if they get it done this week or back another week?
