Recommended by Alisson, he will work alongside goalkeeping coaches John Achterberg and Jack Robinson, and combine duties with his role with the Brazil national team.

I always seem to remember Brazil having really shite GKs. All the outfield players were great, and it almost seemed like no one had bothered to spend time coaching the GK (and defence) just because the Brazil attack was so good!
I don't recall Taffarel being that great either.

The whole goalkeeping situation is a bit irregular, we seem to have loads of keepers who won't get regular game time from u18's up, can only assume they see them as potentially being low investment but good profit potential.

That's probably it mate. Kellerher is very good keeper in the making and I doubt he stay's with us for too long, maybe two more seasons tops? Then we got Ali's protege Pitaluga, who we bought last year and have really high hopes for.

Yes, they do seem to rate him highly.
Seems as if the analysts have spotted an undervalued part of the market as doesn't appear to be many/any other clubs that are focusing as much on their goalkeepers and goalkeeping coaches.

Brazil always had brilliant players therefore having an average GK wasn't such a big deal. Similar to Barcelona with Valdes, who was in goal just for the sake of having a GK.

Valdes was underrated though, was a brilliant ball playing keeper and amazing at one-on-ones. Brazil in recent times have had excellent goalkeepers, starting off with our new GK Coach.

I'm pretty sure if Trent sees the goalie up for a corner he's putting it on his head, just for the stories

I dunno.. I have a feeling Trent aimed it for the general area that Nat had run into (routine etc.) but it was slightly overhit and instead it landed perfectly for Ali.
That said, it was still a beautiful finish by Ali. Just perfect contact and direction. Couldn't have been better.

Just watched a clip of his save against Kassie. Didn't watch the game, out with friends. Glorious. What I love about it... and what makes him the best goalkeeper in the world by an absolute mile at the mo...is he doesn't fall for the little feint Kessie does. Stays up. Fucks Kessie's head up completely. So, he goes wide, head burnt and Ali just opens that majestic goalkeeping body he has and it's over, it's done. Ali triumphs in a 121 again. I love this man
