How does one buy tickets to watch the game at Anfield?
Is anywhere still available to book in Liverpool City Centre? Will be arriving at around 6pm so not much time to look for somewhere. Cheers
Hi MateThe Adelphi hotel has a private function room where you are guranteed a seat so they say - It probably wont be as crazy as rammed pub and the atmosphere are still very good last time:Tickets under a tenner too so cant ask for much morehttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/champions-league-final-family-fanzone-tickets-335395285327
Any singing/chanting going on in there or fairly quiet? Thank you!
Not being shown at Anfield, they're doing a party for the staff.
Mate arrived in Paris at 1:30 this morning. His nephew has a place over there, so they've got a free pad to crash in. He's had to take his laptop as he is working today, just spoke to him, they've been out to get the usual French breakfast and get some beers in. He's heard the Kop Bar, which is near where he is staying, had to close before 10 last night as they'd been drank dry
i've got tickets to the aintree screening but found out theres no parking. thats going to be a ballache,
Reminds me of the 2006 fa cup semi final at old trafford, the pub nearby and near a hotel I think, had to arrange an emergency delivery for when the game was on, lucky for them it arrived for when we all got back later in high spirits .
Drive to South Parkway. Park there. Get a train to Sandhills. Change to Ormskirk. Get off at Aintree
Ok, I don't know anything about parking, but there must be somewhere closer to Aintree than South Parkway!
If it was by the Quays, that was Sam Platts. That place was rammed that day, we were outside near the tent, bet it was killing the staff seeing all us happy Scousers in their pub, I know the doormen were Utd fans. Mad that my now wife was in there with her mate, who I also knew and this was 5 months before I met her.
For big games like this, I always watch at home. I can take everything in
I went to the aintree screening when we played spurs in the final. There was plenty of street parking on the roads off the A59, there was no resident permits (don;t know if thats changed since) was only 5-10 min walk from the entrance.
@4Pool/@filopastryI'm in California - in Menlo Park. Give me a shout if you find yourself up this way. I'm going to be watching at a pub with my 7 yr old girl -- she finally got hooked when she watched the Chelsea match with me.
