I think if Getty Images have "Mandatory Kill" on a photo it probably means they have been notified of an error. What's confusing is the fact that they have not removed the other copy which still states it was Staveley. It's quite uncanny that both women could be sisters.

Anyway, I know the Telegraph may have got it wrong as well, but I just wanted to post the ridiculous photos of H&G last night.

Tom Hicks and George Gillett in Liverpool unison for Arsenal thriller
Liverpool's American co-owners sat together at Anfield last night for the first time this season - and the first for more than a year - watching Rafael Benitez's side produce a 4-4 thriller against Arsenal.

Tom Hicks and George Gillett have been at odds over the direction of the club for much of the last two seasons, but the bickering has taken a backseat ever since Benitez signed a new contract last month.

The duo's visit came as a July deadline approaches to refinance the loan that funded their takeover of Liverpool two years ago. And the calculators came out early at Anfield after witnessing eight goals on another pulsating night.

Also in the directors' box was Amanda Staveley, who was the chief negotiator for last year's failed takeover bid by Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Staveley negotiated the Abu Dhabi United Group's buyout of Manchester City in September.

Hicks, who has said he is looking for new partners to invest in Liverpool from the Middle East, and Gillett have been assessing their personal financial situations amid the global economic crisis.

Gillett has appointed financial advisers to explore a recapitalization of his assets, which could include the sale of the Montreal Canadiens.

And Hicks' company, which wns the Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars, has defaulted on about $525 million in loans.

Guyko -any news?
I've put in an urgent request for info first thing this morning!

Hopefully the phone wires will be buzzing and I'll be back with an update.

It's around 2-3 weeks ago that I last heard any info on this, but clearly today is going to be tough to get any work done!

That picture of the Blonde bird is NOT Staveley,NO CHANCE!

The only thing i can say which is accurate is that Hicks and Gillett met with RBS,as i said last night, i wouldn't build my hopes up with these two.

One thing thats making me think positive is its hardly a secret that Hicks and Gillet hate each other, yet they were laughing like best mates yesterday.

For me, that points to them having sold as they wont have to work together anymore. Laughing at the relief that the nightmare is over?

Only speculation of course, with a heavy dose of wishful thinking!

Deffo Casey Shilts/Coffman.  She is Hicks' finance bod and she is sitting next to one of the Hicks boys.

I would imangine that if it was if it was Stavely, who would be central to the deal, she wouldn't be sitting on the end of the row, next to a nobody (in terms of heirachy).

She's also sporting an LFC scarf, which is something that the Americans seem to do - not seen that often in the directors seats unless it' a visitor from abroad.

If they met up with RBS then thats why they are both here together...and for no other reason.... They certainly dont like each other and there is no way on earth they would meet up together at Anfield

It IS the only reason, if every other story we've heard about their relationship is to be believed.

Possibly an announcement that the loans have been restructured and the stadium work will begin?

They've made announcements on the stadium from outside of the country before, ditto the loans.  It's not an occassion they need to personally get to Liverpool to do.  If you were RBS would you make H and G turn upto see you or would you send an RBS man to the states?
Maybe they're here conducting interviews for Parry's replacement?  Kenny was at the game as well, maybe Kenny isn't being considered for a youth role, maybe he's going to do for us what Charlton does at United.

On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

Although I am worried about stadium and debts to be honest with everyone I don't really care any more whether the clowns owns us or not.  For the first time in ages Liverpool seem to be going the right way.  Ok we shouldn't have let 4 goals get in to our net yesterday but listening to Gerrard talk yesterday made think.  Ever since Rafa signed his contract Liverpool have seem to be a happy team.  There could be the possibility of Dalglish returning.  The Manager is making the right moves.  Liverpool look to be a united front and determined to do better.  It may not be this year but there is huge possibility of us winning the League in the future.

I don't know if new investors are coming or not.  Will these new people rock the boat or not.  None of us know the answers.  All I do know is that Liverpool look to be a happy stable club at moment.

Also I am not 100% sure if the new owners are from the Middle East as I said elsewhere would there be a problem with Yossi playing for us.  Dubai I believe don't like Jews.   Remember reading about the recent Tennis competition.

I personally couldn't care less what a persons religion (jew, hindu, muslim etc)  is or where they come from and I wouldn't want prejudices or world politics brought in to our club.

At the moment the club seems to be happy we are challenging for the number one spot and I am just worried that we might get new owners who will spoil what we have achieved so far.

The counter arguement to that is to imagine what we could acheive if the boss didn't have to go to war just to have to ability to do his job properly.
