It's unreal isn't it! Didn't make it up to the Arches, went as far north as the Mexican Hat. Monument Valley just blew me away with its massive silence, huge scale and gob stopping beauty. Even more so than the Grand Canyon for some reason, the hordes of fat yanks there might of had something to do with that like  ;D

Yeah I remember Mexican hat.  We stopped for a coffee there and the woman who worked the cafe was also the pick up truck driver for stranded vehicles!  She had to leave us after serving us cos she got a call and  had to go and pick some poor fuckers up!  hahaha.   Also did the Canyon, breathtaking like you said that place, and as it was close season, nobody else was there. ......................

From the top of a small mountain, overlooking Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown, NewZealand

At the side of a lake on the way to Queenstown, from the north end of the South Island.
This has to be the most peaceful place that I've ever been to.

It is as good as it's cracked up to be...
I was quite lucky, my ex (who i went with) has family over there, so I got to see a "City" in Christchurch, travel through the unspoilt inland from there to Queenstown (the picture of the lake is in between the two places) and got to see a "holiday resort" in Queenstown.

Cracking place and I'd love to go back there.

Here's some I've taken:

1. There were no fences between us and these black bears.  They were just content to eat salmon.

2. This bee was collecting pollen in my back yard (garden).

3. The Anglican Cathedral on my April 2004 visit to Liverpool.

4. Sefton Park on my March 2005 visit to Liverpool.

It might not look like much, but these are the legs of a statue of Saddam Hussein. They were "liberated" by one of the Regiments here, that took part in the Gulf war. They knocked down the statue and took parts of it home, but they didnīt know what to do with them so they gave to a mate of mine, who is a scrap dealer. They told him they were supposed to be Gold, so he brought them to me to test them, as I have the means to do that. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw these in my drive!
