Absolutely fucking horrible day in all regards.
Pepe's just performed a clown-like piece of goalkeeping, and what better way to end a generally horrible day and to start a generally horrible post.
First a few rants, fouls by Osman and the dirty, dirty Millwall twat Cahill in the lead up to the opening two goals, then a definite penalty for Robbie in the first half and for Hibbert's handball in the second, but regardless of the ineptitute of Poll, that was fucking dire, to lose 3-0 to that shower of Heysel-mongering wankers is quite frankly a disgrace and one of our worst results under Rafa, indeed I can't remember feeling as bad about this after a game since we lost 3-0 at the Bridge in 2000, horrible horrible day.
The decision to bring Carra back was proven very wrong, he clearly wasn't fit, and gave probably his worst performance since the infamous 3-2 defeat at home to United in 99, slow, sluggish, and his defending for the 2nd goal was again, a disgrace, but I'm putting that down to fitness rather than anything else. Garcia was pretty poor, and we'd've been better playing Gonzalez and Pennant from the start, and the decision to leave Bellamy at Melwood looks to be a very poor one now as Robbie just wasn't at the races. Momo made a few decent challenges, Xabi was pretty poor throughout, and Stevie did ok but nothing more, Crouchy was poor also and lets hope he hasn't left his form in Macedonia. I'm going to stop ranting here as I'll probably look at this more objectively later on, but for fucks sake, losing 3-0 to that shower, and yes, we probably did have a few decent spells, but for fucks sake.
Might be a knee-jerk reaction, and infact IS a knee-jerk reaction but I'm in a knee-jerk mood after the last game, but if Pepe doesn't get himself sorted pretty soon he should be aware we have a top-drawer keeper waiting in reserve...
