I remember us chasing 190-odd in the 4th innings at Trinidad in 1994 (Guardian headline prior to rest day: "Balance of fate favours England"). It didn't end well.

A big test of Stokes’ captaincy. Anderson needs to be on it, top performance from Archer and/or Wood needed too.

And it wasn't even like it was just clipping. Almost the whole ball was hitting the stumps. Baffling.

looked like the matter of about half a centimetre in that decision, but there has to be a limit somewhere in the tech and that needs to be consistent.

Agree. And also with what Tendulkar said in his tweet yesterday. What percentage of ball hits shouldn't matter at all.

What % of the ball hits the stumps doesn’t matter, if DRS shows us that the ball is hitting the stumps, it should be given out, regardless of the on-field call. That's the motive of using technology in Cricket. As we know technology isn’t 100% right but neither are humans.#ENGvWI

Runs flowing for the Windies here, I’m not sure England have much left. Anderson’s not looking too much of a threat with an older ball they can only polish with sweat, clear skies and a dead pitch. Wood’s radar isn’t working and Archer’s out of the attack after giving everything.

60 odd still needed but Windies look relatively untroubled. I can’t see England taking 6 for 60. (The chap with the broken toe will be coming out to bat in this situation if needed, surely?)
