Actually FlashGordon had Galopin Des Champs in the last and not Gentelmen de Mee.

Flash was never in too much danger

Good Effort at the end.  Flash looks to have held on

Langer Dan went off at 13/2 so Fiasco wouldn't have got the necessary bonus points anyway

16:50 Cheltenham

Galopin Des Champs (FR) 8/1..............15+5 = 20
Langer Dan (IRE) 13/2...................................10
Floueur (FR) 33/1...............................7+10 = 17
Whatsupwithyou (IRE) 33/1.................4+10 = 14

I had Galopin des Champs not Gentleman de Mee btw Pete.

Top scorer today was Olly with 79.  3 winners and a couple of 3rds.  Picked the Gold Cup winner too.  Well played Olly.

Final table to follow.

***Congratulations to FlashGordon - The 2021 RAWK Cheltenham Champion Tipster!! ***  :champ

Flash made his move on "moving day" and dominated proceedings yesterday. He hit the top of the table and didn't look back with another round of solid tipping today.  I suspect 303 may be the highest winning score ever?

Others were in with a chance towards the end but Flash's title-in-waiting was never really in doubt.  Unlucky Fiasco and also Kesey (I was rooting for you Kesey lad).

I reluctantly have to hand the Tipster fail trophy to Ziltoid.  He was always struggling to get his selections posted in time but he did try... bless him.  I like Zilt and he's a good laugh on RAWK so I am happy to see his name on the Fail trophy along with mine from a few years back :)

Final table is below and well played all that took part who made it a load of fun as usual.

Corresponding RAWK Aintree competition will be run as usual in a few weeks if it goes ahead as planned.  Thread will be up nearer the time.  :wave

Started well but dropped off bad, even though I had my best betting day today (the extra places the bookies offer help).

Thanks again Pete, maybe I'll get on the Trophy one day, I'll definitely be back to try and be a two time Aintree champion.

Sorry that I missed my selections today Pete, loads going on and didn't even have a bet so that saved a few quid looking at the results.

Well played Flash, great tipping that.

Well played Flash, and well done Pete for your sterling efforts. It was a great festival despite the lack of Irish roars. I think the Prestbury Trophy might as well stay in Ireland until further notice - even on good racing ground, the British contingent were no match - particularly up that hill.

It's a funny old game. I used the same selections for a different comp on 'The Punters Lounge' site and came out on top with a £60 prize. Just a slightly different scoring system.

Thanks for running it all. Try again at Aintree.
Been there, done that, getting older, bordering on part timer status. So sad but that's life.

As tradition dictates, last years "Tipster Fail" trophy is presented a month or so before the upcoming festival (15-18 March).  Mainly to remind people the festival is on its way!!

Look out for the 2022 thread which will be up in a few weeks.

Anyway...  One of my most satisfying Tipster FAIL presentations.  Here you go Ziltoid.  You deserve it my man. :)

Am having another year off, but intending on buying a membership for next season with the money saved. It’s only about £100 more than 4 days in Club, and you can go to any of the fixtures and have access to the Members bars which I reckon will be a godsend during the Festival
