Had a quick scan on their website and it looks like they charge a flat fee of £30 in the FA Cup for the entire ground

Hopefully

People on Facebook saying this is set for the Thursday!

Someone has all 8 games defaulted at Thursday somewhere which is where that's from. FA Website has Wednesday. BBC has Tuesday.

They haven't decided any games yet bar West Brom v Newcastle which is Tuesday.

Phew, thanks, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they did it to spite us!

If that’s the case, expect to see a similar team to last night, with us playing Bournemouth early in the Saturday

So, Tuesday ? Not a lot of time between the late ko at Watford on the Saturday before. Mind you, it might be better that than Wed or Thurs, with Bournemouth early ko on the Saturday following.

Wednesday to Saturday lunchtime kickoff is actually about 10 hours less so it’s the best option Really

So we’ve had the FA saying Wednesday, BBC saying Tuesday and LFC saying Thursday. Clear as mud.

Lets just wait till the confirmation

If it’s Thursday we should pull out of the FA and League Cup next season.FA and EFL clearly aren’t willing to accommodate us fairly anymore

They are hurting their own brand if they put us on Thursday

Flagship game of the round, they’ll want the best teams on show, put it on Thursday and Klopp puts out last night’s team again

But this was known before the season began that the 5th round would be either Tues/Wed/Thurs.

And we clearly have a league game at 12:30 on Saturday, there isn’t even any good ties in the round, have 1 game on Tuesday and 1 on Wednesday or get BBC and BT to agree to have games at the same time. Putting us Thursday when we play 36hours later is fucking absurd

I mean we can afford to go full strength at Chelsea and put the kids out against Bournemouth, but we won’t do that, and nor should we be put in a position where we have to

I suppose Thursday could be possible given that they’ve not got the same number of days to show live games as they do over a weekend (Fri-Mon). Hopefully not, but the FA seem determined to undermine everything connected to the winter break

In fairness there’s no other tie with both teams already playing Sunday, they would’ve known this to potentially happen given that league games would be confirmed before cup. Issue is if they’ve promised more than 2 live TV games

They could easily do spilt kickoffs 7:30 and 8:15, although with ET and pens 8:15 is quite late, real clusterfuck by the FA which they will probably try take out on us here

The FA said that none of this round would be confirmed until after the replays had been completed. Now it's been completed it'd expect something to appear today.

Hasn't West Brom v Newcastle already been picked for tv on the Tuesday by BT, would that have any bearing on the BBC choosing us for live tv on the Weds night?

I thought BBC got fist pick in every round, so they must have picked theirs if BT have already picked theirs.

Nobody has any clue even how many games will be on TV. There were 6 last season, but that was weekend, not midweek.

Hopefully hear confirmation today

Didn’t think it was on tv to be honest but I could be wrong. Thought it was the opposite in that they went with Tuesday Cos it wasn’t on telly.
