There have been plenty of slow playmakers who've made the ball do the work for them instead of running around - Alberto is one. You can't stereotype such playmakers into one league, it's extremely simplistic.

He has made a good career for himself. It was obvious from even his time here that he had that ability to pick a killer pass. Even physically he has developed a lot since leaving us.

good to hear he is doing well. Shame we didnt keep a hold of him. Didnt we buy him from Barca B and he always had high assists?. EPL probably too fast for him sadly...

He doesn’t have 30. Think he’s on 26 from 2 seasons (he didn’t really play Much in 17/18).

He’s done really well in Italy.

Wouldn’t have him back for any price. Totally the wrong style of player for us now.

They are a decent source of stats especially if you aren't able to access the premium stats providers. I just hate giving publicity to anything connected to the rag.

Sky Sports and the Premier League are connected too. If we boycott everything that's connected to it in any way, we won't have much left. I checked on the whoscored website, and AFAICS they don't advertise the scum on there, so that much at least is clean.

Depends how it’s written but most stay valid regardless of new contracts at the club we sold him to.

Saw this in an interview with him (seems to be from July) and liked it. Nice to see someone appreciate where they were falling down and enjoy what they are capable of and can achieve since realising it. Wish I'd had that at 25!

Reading all the stuff above, it appears that Luis was/is a prime example of "players who left us and became great"..

Probably not as bad as the reverse situation
