Wouldn't say scrappy thought we were pretty dominant (only saw 2nd half). We did miss a couple of big chances but never really looked under threat apart from a Brentford chance at 1-0.

Looked like Klopp had encouraged him to be a bit more positive on the ball, twice taking it on and getting a shot off early in the second half, after he'd spent most of the first recycling the ball. Good signs.

Fabi was quite good. Jota and Bobby were really good, they had a couple of extraordinary moves that were blocked or not finished. I don't understand the criticism of those two specifically in the HT thread. I thought we were more dynamic today than against Arsenal, so what was the problem? Ox was patchy, but he scored the crucial goal. Others were fine. Jones had a good game. Our defense was good, our full-backs much better as well. That HT thread was a dreck and certain posters should be ashamed.

I thought we were good today and good tempo first half. Only issue with the first half going forward was we barely got a shot off, we barely looked like creating anything, which is fine if you can find a goal from a set piece which we did. Sloppy 10 minutes before the goal which could have cost us but solid otherwise.

We were quite flowing for the most part and a good tempo. Struggled to create at 0-0, the goal opened the game up for the second half.

we were so fucking sloppy giving the ball away in our own third in the first half i was sure they were gonna get at least one and to be honest we didn't look like scoring to me

so relieved to come out of that with a 3-0

as soon as they opened up we started to look dangerous, good to see not the usual suspects scoring, we need that big time when the main men aren't there and in general anyway

i felt that game was always in the balance until our second, despite our dominance, we need strengthening we really do but that's a conversation for a different thread
