Afternoon all of RAWK

Please include any players he has missed or put in a position that might be wrong

My lad Jack has decided he is going to do a project on Liverpool's greatest XI based on the players he has decided to list. Your formation can be either 4-4-2 and/or 4-3-3. If you want to post a graphic of how they'll play that would be great as well.

If posters could please set out formation or just list the players with the formation they are playing that would be great. He's hoping for 50 responses. I have a feeling it's for maths although he hasn't told me! Please note any player you think might should be included in the team he might have missed - he is 13 so is obviously a little biased to the more present day. Apologies for spelling mistakes and slightly wrong names but i'm trying to read his scrawl.

For some reason he only has 3 Right Mids - if people chuck in some options for that it would help.

Quite tricky to do, these days. Ten years ago it was always stick it in a 442. Mane could probably play wide left, not sure Salah could do the same. Basically I’m stalling!

Obviously doesn't work as a team as it's too attack-minded but based purely on putting the best players together.

There is a companion piece to this which is to assemble the worst side in history. Souness and Hodgson's sides would provide most of the squad.

My list is mainly based on longevity and/or success. eg Suarez 13-14 was IMO the best player to ever play for us but he won nothing and was only around a few seasons. VVD has only been around 2 years but too good not to include (sorry Lawro/Yeats).

There's a hell of a lot of current players who will be elevated by another few years and/or trophy or two.
