I don't even think it needs "Liverpool" in it.

Just "The Football Club".

If people don't know they're in Liverpool, by the Andriy Voronin bronze statue or the Adidas Club Shop, they're lost!

Love it, sounds classy and old school. A great big lovely new stand but big letters with a phrase harking back to the olden days.

Could just imagine Shankly with a wry smile on his face standing under the new sign "well you know, we are THE Liverpool Football Club"

looks stupid with that signage.. what's the point? never had it before so why now.. surely the rather large club crests on the ends give it a clue what the building is.

Liverpool FC is the whole ground not just the main stand, otherwise they'd have Liverpool Football Club emblazoned on every nook and cranny.

actually they did have liverpool football club above the main stand official entrance back in the old days so that wasn't bad. as for high 'look at me' signage is kind of egotistical.. bit like pesky tesco signs

I personally like just Liverpool Football Club, but don't object to the use of "The", my only gripe with those mock-ups is, it should be on the edge of the roof so it can be seen for MILES and not tucked under it. "If you're gonna do it, do it right" to quote Wham. lol

You couldn't fit all that on the old main stand. Hence we expanded, it's a true fact!

As long as one of those giant LFC logos can be seen from that pit across the park I'll be happy. Right in that gap between their stands. Forcing them to spend money on those stupid towers to block the view.

Doesn't mean the full name has to be on the stand. Something simple that stands out (no pun intended) is what's needed. I personally hope we exclude the The.
