The Swazz on the ball is something unworldly. In the post match interview he said he had scored better goals then that??? Really the man is next level human if that is the case. Such confidence

It does bounce, but it's like when you skip a stone across a pond and you get that perfect one that just kisses the surface and bounces loads of times.

I don't think it actually does bounce, comes within millimeters of the turf but just avoids it.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Amazing frisby-type shot for the goal.

Based on midweek, I'm 90% certain that it didn't take a deflection and Thiago Jedi mind-tricked the ball into doing that shit.

Difficult match for his type of game given the stormy weather. Players were often not getting the right weight on their passes today.

He's a top class player, good to see him producing an end product now as well.

He does lose the hall quite casually in front of our own box at times (wtf was that diving header he tried). Perhaps that’s still an element of the PL he’s getting used to.

The look of sheer terror on his face when he gave away the ball right at the beginning and Allison had to come out sprinting was funny. Some players were just born to grace Anfield, he’s one of them.

Sometimes him losing the ball is him dwelling on it too much but i'd lov to see more movement around him when he gets it, sometimes everyone just stops and watches him instead of giving him options

He reminds me of the super talented, super successful, super popular older brother.  I get the feeling the younger players look up to him or use him as a good resource.  This is based on very little evidence of course, but I saw it when he hugged the kids (Neco and maybe Morton?) after his goal.

He's a joy to watch play.

Absolutely majestic. Hendo will get the plaudits but he's been fantastic all season, Thiago was as great as ever in retaining the ball but also won it countless times. Brilliant game.

He's great. He has a lot to do and sometimes finds himself a little over-extended but that's the kind of midfield game we play.

Still think he can get even better off the ball because I feel like he does sometimes struggles with tackles and pace of the game. Matter of time and adjustment though - he can just go the Alonso route of reading the game and intercepting the ball rather than tackling.

But on the ball, oh man, there are none better. One of the smartest midfielders. Controls the tempo. Can basically find any pass he wants because of his incredible technique. Not had his kind grace our pitches since the days of Alonso.

I love watching him play and that's from an aesthetic point of view, I keep hearing the commentators say he's one of the top technical players, in my eyes from a pure technical ability, the way he controls the move, drops his shoulders, hits his passes, its just so fucking beautiful. He's technically perfect, I bet Ronaldinho purrs when he watches Thiago playing. Must be the genetics, his brother must have got the shitter genetics. He's not Brazilian but he's Brazilian.

Getting a free kick given against you for having your shirt pulled is a new one. And of course that foul counted against him in getting booked for multiple fouls later. Absolutely laughable.

You are looking at this in the wrong way. Thiago's shirt grabbed Andros Townsend's hand and pulled it so that he can't execute the pass. Clear foul.
