It’s great to have a centre back that you know will win nearly every ball whether it’s in the air or on the ground. He is so fast, strong and reads the game well.

He’s now turning into a goal threat on every one of our attacking freekicks or corners; it took him a while to realise that he could score.

This thread is weirdly absent comment - given the context last night might have been his worst game for us... he's terrible on the first goal....he's 2 yards behind the line but at the same time not moving to cover - Suarez is right in front of him in the build up and then he lets him go without stepping up or covering
Really weird piece of switching off from him.

To quote Paul Cope - "He's literally the best you can get, we can't go out and buy any better so we just shrug off the mistakes and go ah well"
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

Normally a player can look great on tubes, but one of the things that's encouraging for me is just the amount of youtube videos on him

6 goals this season now isn’t it? Not bad considering how much he’s contributing at the back too.

The little barge on Perez was amazing.

funniest part was that Perez had just pushed him in the back clearly - uncalled - but was whining like a little bitch when he got Virgiled.

What a complete player. And an added bonus of leadership. We are much bigger than the sum of our parts this whole season.

Whenever Milner suddenly feels his age or tires of us, there is only one player that will be vice captain.

It's beyond skill he adds to us. It's resiliency, confidence and unending drive.

6 goals, none fluff considering that goal difference can still play a part plus his imperious performances at his day job in defence.

I hope he qualifies for a testimonial here

There are no specific reasons why Van Dijk and Ox are not participating in training sessions, both are doing individual bespoke sessions and have missed opening training for cameras. Both can be available for tomorrow.

Being in the same boat as Lallana in training is not encouraging.

Obviously Lallana has been injured yet again recently and he was named today along with VVD and Ox as doing these 'individual sessions'

A bit worrying.

Or Klopp wants him to train individually for some reason.

Possible - but then so is him having a problem possible.

Reports that Oxlade pulled up Saturday and he is training alone - We know Lallana has been fucked and he is training alone....VVD training alone too - it isn't a stretch to say he could have a problem.

Club spokesman said "Can be available for Tuesday" of course.

It’s the foot problem he picked up a couple of games ago according to Maddock.

Hopefully just resting him then

If Leicester were to get something at city tonight then I bet he wouldn’t be risked,
