Not really.  Nothing specific. Just not a fan. Can't deny how good he is though.

What do we think of the premier league format that it's changed to 3 rounds on the night, rather than a straight round robin format, for me i'm still not too sold on it?

I think it's good if you are at the event but gets a bit old quickly if you're watching on TV.

Brilliant night tonight. Felt like every game could have gone either way.

Was it just me or was the atmosphere dead? Could hear a pin drop at times.

It certainly wasn't flat being there albeit there was a lot of bother all over due to idiots singing football songs!

Sky Sports didn't help the situation having Dobey interviewed on stage and showing a montage of goals from Shearer, Sir Les etc!

He was sensational at times tonight. Ricardo disgraced himself squaring up to Littler and booting off on stage after losing. He had no right, Littler did no wrong and it really was sour grapes after being completely outclassed. After what happened with Greaves last year, someone needs to chin the c*nt. He’s embarrassing himself against kids.

I don't get why he did that. He didn't over celebrate, he didn't rub it in the guys face, didn't show any disrespect on the stage. Just take the loss and move on. Littler certainly did :P

It was the way he went for a 147 checkout I think.

Instead of T19, T20 and D15 which is the normal way especially with D15 next to his favourite D10. He went T19, D20 and the bull.

He’s entitled to checkout however he wants. At the end of the day he didn’t pull it off, so Ricardo could’ve responded with his darts. 147’s a tough checkout with a few different ways to take it out, as the commentator said at the time, he went for the biggest target he had available to him which was D20 and he’s a good finisher on the bull. It’s unconventional but there was enough methodology to support it. Ricardo just stunk of sour grapes after a poor showing. The instagram stories were also embarrassing.

The guys on commentary that I was listening to said it is an old but less used way of going for it. The double 20 is a bigger target to hit than the treble twenty so they said he was valid to try this way.  Sorry Garlic red said it better and before me.
Littler was amazing at times. The first game against the Portuguese lad was close and the final was amazing.

Imagine squaring up to a 17-year old like that. Who does he think he is, Chillwell?

Littler is a joke. Averaged 114 against MVG and missed double 12 for another 9 darter to win the match.

It’s a shame that the standard is so high yet the crowds and social media is riddled with nobheads. Social media is obviously easy to ignore for the players but I doubt they do. The issues with the crowds during play is ridiculous really. Really does let the sport down at times.

I agree but that’s the way the PDC decided to go. They’ve encouraged and sought football type crowds.
I have to put the sound down when watching it as I just can’t bear them same fucking chants every 5 minutes.

The chanting and so on I’m not fussed on, don’t mind a bit of atmosphere and celebrating big moments/finishes, it’s the constant whistling on doubles, cheering misses, booing etc it’s so cringeworthy. Just think there’s so many good players now the games are so competitive and high level, yet they’re on the stage losing their marbles because there’s tossers in the crowd with referee whistles, probably with a bet on the other bloke. I don’t think Darts would suit atmospheres like the snooker, but the lack of respect from the crowds really drags on the sport at times.

He's a proper sensation isn't he. Love how he's come in and is just starting to dominate. Love it even more that it boils the piss of some of the dickheads on the tour

Think it's great he goes about checkouts his own way as well. Nothing wrong with a bit of showmanship. I'd rather someone did it that way than did some stupid dance across the stage to some shite music (naming no names)
